  Sanchez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 6-1 win over the Angels. Sanchez entered Saturday 18 games removed from his last long ball, a stretch in which he went a paltry 3-for-46 (.065) at the plate. The outfielder has filled a part-time role during his stint with the Astros, hitting just .191 since he was acquired from the Marlins. Overall, he's at a .235/.303/.395 slash line with 14 homers, 48 RBI, 61 runs scored, 12 stolen bases, 21 doubles and four triples across 133 games.

  Sanchez isn't in the lineup for Friday's game versus the Angels, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports. Sanchez will take a day to reset Friday after going just 1-for-18 across his last seven contests. Mauricio Dubon will fill in as the Astros' left fielder and bat ninth.

  Sanchez went 1-for-2 with a solo home run in Thursday's 8-4 loss to the Yankees. Sanchez went yard in the seventh inning as a pinch hitter, and he stayed in the game in right field, replacing Cam Smith. Sanchez has gone 14-for-31 (.452) over his last 10 games, adding three homers, three doubles and six RBI in that span, as he continues to fill a strong-side platoon role in the corner outfield. The 27-year-old is slashing .255/.319/.424 with 13 homers, 43 RBI, 53 runs scored, 20 doubles, four triples and nine stolen bases over 114 games between the Astros and the Marlins this season.
