  • McCray went 2-for-4 with two home runs and five RBI in Saturday's win over the Padres. McCray gave San Francisco the lead with a three-run blast off Dylan Cease in the top of the second and later added a second long ball to increase the lead to three runs. It marked the rookie outfielder's first multi-homer game of his big-league career, and he's now recorded multiple hits in back-to-back contests. His five RBI on the night also marked a career high, and he's now batting .313 (5-for-16) in September with three extra-base hits, five RBI and two runs scored. Furthermore, McCray has cut down on his strikeouts to open this month, striking out only four times through five games thus far after going down on strikes twice in four consecutive games to wrap up the month of August.
