Saucedo recorded one out to earn a save over the Royals on Sunday. Saucedo needed only two pitches to record the final out of the 10th inning during Sunday's win. He's picked up two saves and a hold this month despite getting only four outs during those three appearances. He lowered his ERA to 2.81 through 16 innings this season. Saucedo shouldn't see many save chances moving forward as Andres Munoz (back) returned to action Sunday.

Saucedo earned the save in Tuesday's 4-3 win over the Athletics after coming in to get the final out of the game. He did walk a batter before ending things. Saucedo was called upon to get the final out of the game after Andres Munoz was forced to depart with a lower-back injury that flared up after a collision at home plate. He was tasked with stranding a runner at second and walked JJ Bleday before handling a Brent Rooker ground ball to end the game. It was Saucedo's second save of the year, though he also has two blown saves to his name as well. The 31-year-old owns a 3.00 ERA, 1.27 WHIP and 15:7 K:BB in 15 innings.

Saucedo (2-0) got the win against the Astros on Tuesday, firing a scoreless eighth inning during which he issued a walk and recorded a strikeout. The veteran southpaw was making his first appearance since being activated off the injured list Sunday, and he served as an effective bridge to Ryne Stanek in the ninth with his clean inning. Saucedo has been effective all season when available, and he now owns a 1.54 ERA and 0.86 WHIP across the 11.2 innings covering his last 11 appearances.

The Mariners reinstated Saucedo (knee) from the 15-day injured list Sunday. He'll take over the 26-man active roster spot of right-hander Eduard Bazardo, who was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma in a corresponding move. Saucedo was placed on the IL on May 8 with a hyperextended right knee but looks to be healthy again after he tossed a scoreless inning in his lone rehab appearance for Tacoma on Thursday.

Saucedo (knee) struck out one over a scoreless inning Thursday in his first rehab appearance with Triple-A Tacoma. Saucedo landed on the 15-day injured list a little over two weeks ago with a hyperextended right knee. Because he hasn't missed much time, the left-handed reliever shouldn't need more than a couple rehab appearances, setting himself up for a return within the next few days.
