Canzone is absent from the lineup for Monday's ALCS Game 7 against the Blue Jays. The left-handed-hitting Canzone had been in the lineup all nine times the Mariners went up against a righty this postseason, but he's just 3-for-27 during the playoffs and will take a seat Monday as the Blue Jays sent right-hander Shane Bieber to the bump. Victor Robles will play right field and bat ninth for the Mariners.

Canzone is out of the lineup Sunday for Game 2 of the ALDS against the Tigers. After starting and going 0-for-4 in Saturday's 3-2 loss in 11 innings, the left-handed-hitting Canzone will exit the lineup as the Tigers send ace southpaw Tarik Skubal to the bump. Mitch Garver will replace Canzone in the starting nine, serving as Seattle's designated hitter and batting seventh.

Canzone is starting in right field and batting seventh against the Dodgers on Friday. Canzone will enter the Mariners' starting nine after Victor Robles (undisclosed) was scratched from the lineup. Canzone has gone 7-for-19 (.368) with one home run, three RBI and four runs scored over his last six games.

Canzone is not in the Mariners' starting lineup against the Dodgers on Friday. Even with right-hander Emmet Sheehan on the mound for the Dodgers in Friday's series opener, Canzone will be on the bench for the start of the game while Josh Naylor serves as the designated hitter and Luke Raley gets the nod at first base. Canzone has logged at least one hit in five of his last six games and has a 1.151 OPS with four home runs, 11 RBI and 11 runs scored in 51 plate appearances since Sept. 1.

Canzone will start at designated hitter and will bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Astros. Though the left-handed-hitting Canzone will likely continue to sit against left-handed pitchers heading into the final week of the season, he appears to have recaptured a regular spot in the lineup versus righties after going 10-for-19 with three home runs, one double, eight RBI and five runs over his past six contests. Seattle has cleared room in the lineup for Canzone by shifting Jorge Polanco -- who had been serving as the team's primary designated hitter -- to second base.
