Raley went 2-for-3 with a double, a home run, a walk, two runs scored and three RBI in an extra-inning win over the Athletics on Saturday. Raley took Athletics closer Mason Miller deep to right center with one out and Julio Rodriguez aboard in the ninth inning to knot the score at 6-6 and force extras. It was the 22nd round tripper of Raley's first Mariners season, and it served as his sixth homer in a productive September that's also seen him post a .296 batting average and 1.001 OPS across 80 plate appearances (22 games).

Raley is not in the starting lineup for Friday's game against the Athletics, Shannon Drayer of SeattleSports.com reports. Raley will once again retreat to the dugout as Oakland sends left-hander JP Sears to the mound Friday. Dylan Moore will start at first base and bat fifth.

Raley is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Astros. He'll be on the bench for the second day in a row while the Astros send another lefty (Yusei Kikuchi) to the bump. Justin Turner will cover first base once again in place of the lefty-hitting Raley.

Raley is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Rangers. Raley will hit the bench along with fellow lefty-hitting regular Josh Rojas as the Rangers send southpaw Andrew Heaney to the mound. Justin Turner will spell Raley at first base.

Raley isn't in Seattle's lineup Wednesday versus the Yankees. With southpaw Nestor Cortes set to start on the bump for New York, the lefty-hitting Raley will step out of the lineup Wednesday. His absence will put Justin Turner at first base while Mitch Garver works as the DH.
