• Rockies' Robert Calaz: Sidelined at Single-A

  Single-A Fresno placed Calaz on the 7-day injured list Wednesday due to an undisclosed injury. Calaz is one of the most exciting power hitters in the lower minors. The Dominican outfielder has hit above .325 with an ISO above .235 at all three levels he has played at. Calaz hit .327 with two home runs, three steals and a 28.1 percent strikeout rate in 13 games since getting promoted to the Grizzlies, and it's unclear how long he's expected to be sidelined.
