Butler is now three games away from tying Oakland's longest hitting streak ever set by Jason Giambi in 1997. The 24-year-old continues his second-half breakout as he has turned his season around since the beginning of July. Butler came into July with a .180 batting average and since then has hit .325 with 19 homers, 47 RBI and 11 stolen bases over his last 62 games.
