  • Butler is not in Sunday's lineup against the Mariners. Butler had been operating as an everyday player for Oakland, but he'll get the regular-season finale off with Seth Brown starting in right field and Daz Cameron getting a rare start in left field against a righty (Logan Gilbert). Butler hit .280 with two home runs and six steals in 23 September games, and he's in line to be one of the focal points of the A's offense in 2025.
