Kim went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Sunday's 6-1 win at Seattle. The Los Angeles rookie opened the contest's scoring with a 409-foot, two-run shot off Mariners starter Bryce Miller in the second. With the home run, Kim snapped a 49-game stretch dating back to May 31 without a round tripper. The 26-year-old concludes his first season with a .281/.315/.388 slash line, 13 steals, 19 runs scored and 17 RBI in 169 total plate appearances.

Kim isn't in the lineup for Saturday's game against San Francisco, Kirsten Watson of Spectrum SportsNet LA reports. Saturday marks the fourth straight game that will begin with Kim on the bench, as he's been conceding starts at the keystone to Miguel Rojas and Tommy Edman. Kim looks as though he'll have to settle for a regular reserve role with the recent return of Edman from the injured list creating a logjam in the infield.

Kim isn't in the lineup for Friday's game versus San Francisco. Kim will miss out on the starting lineup against a right-hander for the second time in a row, this time conceding a start at second base to Tommy Edman. Michael Conforto, Andy Pages and Teoscar Hernandez will patrol the outfield with Edman at the keystone.

Kim isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Rockies. After starting three straight games against right-handed starters, Kim will step out of the lineup Tuesday despite right-hander German Marquez taking the mound for Colorado. Miguel Rojas will get the nod at the keystone while batting ninth.

Kim will start at second base and bat seventh in Sunday's game against the Orioles. After being activated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Kim came off the bench for the ensuing two contests, but he's now started in three straight games with right-handers on the mound for the opposition. The rookie could end up holding down a strong-side platoon role at the keystone until Tommy Edman (ankle) returns from the IL.
