  • Webb (13-10) got the win over the Diamondbacks on Tuesday after throwing six shutout innings while allowing four hits and a walk. He struck out three. Webb was staked a seven-run lead by the third inning and that lead grew to 10 by the fifth. Still, he never let up and tossed his seventh outing of at least six scoreless innings this season. Tuesday was likely Webb's final start of the season. He'll finish as one of a handful of pitchers to surpass 200 innings this season and he currently sits 10th in the National League with a 3.47 ERA. Overall, Webb owns a 3.47 ERA, 1.23 WHIP and 172:50 K:BB in 204.2 innings.

  • Webb didn't factor into the decision Thursday against the Orioles, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out eight. Webb got off to a strong start against Baltimore, allowing just two baserunners through his first three scoreless innings. However, the right-hander allowed the first three batters to reach in the fourth, ultimately allowing three runs in the frame. While Webb's eight strikeouts matched a season high, he's now allowed three or more runs in each of his last five outings while posting a 6.57 ERA in that span. Webb's ERA now sits at 3.58 on the season with a 1.24 WHIP and 169:49 K:BB. He'll likely make one more start this season, tentatively lined up for early next week in Arizona.

  • Giants' Logan Webb: Short start in loss
    By RotoWire

Webb (12-10) allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk while striking out four over four innings to take the loss Friday versus the Padres. Webb failed to complete five innings for the first time since May 5. With the Giants essentially out of playoff contention, it appears manager Bob Melvin won't ask for too much of Webb down the stretch, especially since the ace has hit a rough patch with 17 runs allowed (16 earned) on 29 hits and six walks over his last 21 innings. The right-hander is now at a 3.53 ERA, 1.24 WHIP and 161:47 K:BB through a major-league-leading 193.2 innings over 31 starts. Webb's next start is set to come on the road, but it's unclear if it'll be in Baltimore or Kansas City, as the Giants could get Robbie Ray (hamstring) back some time next week.

  • Giants' Logan Webb: Allows 10 hits in win
    By RotoWire

Webb (12-9) picked up the win over the Padres on Saturday, allowing three runs on 10 hits and two walks over six innings while striking out three. Webb got knocked around early, allowing four consecutive batters to reach to open the contest, which would lead to two early runs coming across for San Diego. The right-hander gave up 10 hits on the night, which matched his season high, while allowing the leadoff man to reach in four of his six innings on the mound. However, he still managed to record his fourth quality start in his last six outings in addition to securing his 12th win of the campaign. Webb has now won five of his last six decisions (spanning eight starts), though he's also failed to record more than four strikeouts in three straight.

  • Webb (11-9) allowed six runs on eight hits over six innings Sunday, striking out four and taking a loss against Miami. Webb turned in four scoreless frames before Miami plated four runs in the fifth inning, highlighted by Kyle Stowers' three-run shot. The Marlins scored another pair in the sixth. Webb has given up 10 runs over his last two starts after allowing just four total runs in five outings from Jul. 31 through Aug. 21. He's been tagged with at least four earned runs in 10 starts this season; he did that eight times during the 2023 season. Webb now owns a 3.43 ERA with a 154:44 K:BB through 183.2 frames. He's in line for a start in San Diego this weekend.
