White Sox's Jose Abreu: Drives in two more runs
Abreu went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a 15-2 loss to the Red Sox on Saturday.
The White Sox first baseman drove in both runs for the White Sox during the lopsided loss. That's now 32 RBI for Abreu, which puts him in the lead in the American League. Abreu is also batting .285 with seven home runs, 17 runs and two steals in 123 at-bats this season.

Indians' Carlos Santana: Clubs game-winning homer
Santana went 2-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Mariners.
Santana's three-game homer streak may have come to an end Thursday, but he still came through with a home run in the eighth inning Saturday to give the Indians the lead for good. The 33-year-old is slashing .321/.429/.509 with five home runs, 19 RBI and a 19:20 BB:K in 30 games.

Yuli Gurriel DH | SD
Astros' Yuli Gurriel: Smacks second homer
Gurriel went 2-for-4 with a home run, a triple, two RBI and two runs scored Saturday against the Angels.
Gurriel took Trevor Cahill deep in the fourth inning for his second home run of the season. Prior to that, he provided an RBI triple in the second inning, his second three-bagger of the season. It was a rare power display for Gurriel, as he has just a .409 slugging percentage through 125 plate appearances this season.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: May return next week
Olson (hand) could be activated from the 10-day injured list as early as Tuesday, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Olson began his minor-league rehab assignment Wednesday and will be evaluated for potential activation after Sunday's game with Triple-A Las Vegas. The 25-year-old suffered a broken hamate bone in his right hand just before the start of the regular season, while the A's acquired Kendrys Morales to help fill the void at first base.

Twins' C.J. Cron: Cranks sixth homer

Cron homered off J.A. Happ to provide the Twins with a 4-0 lead. The 29-year-old is slashing just .221/.276/.442, and even with this effort is just 6-for-39 since April 22. Cron now has six home runs and 17 RBI on the season.

Yandy Diaz 1B | TB
Rays' Yandy Diaz: Not in lineup
Diaz is not starting Saturday against the Orioles, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Though Diaz will sit for just the third time all season, his .257/.359/.514 slash line should continue to keep him in the lineup on a regular basis. Daniel Robertson will start at third base in his absence.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Athletics' Matt Olson: Progressing well in rehab
Olson (hand), who went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Triple-A Las Vegas' extra-innings loss to Fresno on Friday, is progressing well overall during his time with the Aviators, Jake Crouse of MLB.com reports. "He feels good. He's seeing a lot of pitches," manager Bob Melvin said. "Hit a couple balls hard the first night, had a walk. ... Maybe not his best night, but feels good seeing pitches, and it's health that we want. Still got a few more games before we potentially bring him up."
Melvin's comments actually predated Friday night's game, and Olson's ninth-inning homer in the contest only served to validate the general spirit of the Athletics skipper's words. Olson is expected to continue suiting up for Las Vegas over the weekend before being reevaluated for potential activation.

Ryan O'Hearn 1B | PIT
Royals' Ryan O'Hearn: Out again Friday
O'Hearn is not in the lineup for Friday's game against the Tigers.
O'Hearn will be stationed on the bench for the third time in the last four games as left-hander Matthew Boyd is set to take the mound for Detroit. Hunter Dozier takes over at first base for the Royals while Kelvin Gutierrez starts at third base.

Kole Calhoun 1B | CLE
Angels' Kole Calhoun: Mashes eighth homer
Calhoun went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk to help the Angels to a 6-2 victory over the Blue Jays on Thursday.
Calhoun typically hits leadoff against right-handers, but he was dropped down to sixth in the order thanks to his early-season struggles. He responded by cranking a second-inning two-run shot off Aaron Sanchez. He's hitting just .204 with a .297 on-base percentage, but the 31-year-old is at least providing decent power, as this was eighth home run to go along with six doubles and eight RBI over 113 at-bats.
