Pete Alonso 1B | BAL
Mets' Pete Alonso: RBI streak at seven games
Alonso went 1-for-4 with a walk, a three-run home run, a second run scored and a stolen base in Monday's 7-2 win over the Brewers.
His fourth-inning blast off Corbin Burnes opened the scoring on the night and proved to be the game-winning hit -- one that clinched the Mets' first playoff berth since 2016. Alonso extended his RBI streak to seven games with the performance, and over his last 13 contests he's slashing .300/.390/.580 with four of his 36 homers and 12 of his 118 RBI on the season, leaving him only two RBI shy of tying the career high he established as a rookie in 2019.

Matt Olson 1B | ATL
Braves' Matt Olson: Ends drought at dish
Olson went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored in Monday's 5-2 win over the Nationals.
Olson's stat line wasn't eye-popping from a fantasy standpoint by any means, but it was likely a welcome sight for his managers nonetheless amid a prolonged skid at the plate. Since mashing a three-run home run in a win over the Athletics on Sept. 6, Olson slashed .053/.122/.053 with a 34.1 percent strikeout rate over his subsequent 10 games. Even after the two-hit game, Olson is batting just .235, the lowest average of his career aside from the pandemic-shortened 2020 campaign.

Michael Toglia 1B | COL
Rockies' Michael Toglia: Shows off speed Monday
Toglia went 3-for-4 with two triples, a run, two RBI and a stolen base in a loss to the Giants on Monday.
Toglia isn't known for his speed, but he showed that he can get around the bases Monday. The rookie picked up his first two triples as well as his first stolen base as a big-leaguer in the loss. This was the first three-hit game of Toglia's major-league career and put an end to a cold snap during which he went 0-for-18 with 10 strikeouts over his previous five contests.

LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Back in action Monday
Wade (side) is back in the lineup Monday playing first base and batting leadoff, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.
Wade hasn't started a game since being scratched ahead of Friday's game against the Dodgers, but he was able to make three plate appearances Sunday after pinch-hitting for Joey Bart. The 28-year-old is batting .250 during the month of September.

Alfonso Rivas 1B | STL
Cubs' Alfonso Rivas: Sits versus righty
Rivas is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Marlins.
Rivas went 2-for-7 while making a pair of starts against right-handed pitchers to close out the Cubs' weekend series with the Rockies, but he'll take a seat Monday with right-hander Edward Cabrera on the hill for Miami. P.J. Higgins will step in at first base, but Rivas still looks to be the preferred option in a crowded group at the position that also includes Jared Young and Patrick Wisdom.

Freddie Freeman 1B | LAD
Dodgers' Freddie Freeman: Logs steal Sunday
Freeman went 1-for-3 with two walks, an RBI, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 4-3 extra-inning win over the Giants.
Freeman stole second after he was intentionally walked in the 10th inning. It was his 12th theft of the year, extending a career high, and it was also his first steal since Aug. 31. The first baseman has gone 18-for-41 (.439) with four home runs, 12 RBI and 10 runs scored across his last 11 games. For the season, he's slashing .331/.405/.525 with 20 homers, 94 RBI, 106 runs scored and 45 doubles through 144 contests.

Pete Alonso 1B | BAL
Mets' Pete Alonso: Steals fourth base
Alonso went 0-for-3 with a run scored, an RBI, a walk and a hit-by-pitch in a 7-3 win Sunday over Pittsburgh.
Alonso was beaned in the first inning, drove in a run on a fielder's choice and stole a base in the second and walked and scored in the eighth. It was his 115th RBI of the season and the sixth straight game in which he drove in a run. He's reached base safely in 12 straight contests and has a .304/.389/.543 slash line with three homers and nine RBI in that span.

LaMonte Wade 1B | CHW
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Still out Sunday
Wade (side) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers.
The 28-year-old was scratched from Friday's lineup with side tightness and will sit out Sunday for a third straight contest. Heliot Ramos will start in right field and bat ninth while Wade should be considered day-to-day.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Giants' Wilmer Flores: Sets new career high in homers
Flores went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 7-2 loss to the Dodgers.
Flores entered Saturday's game stuck in an 0-for-13 skid, but he was able to snap it with his third-inning homer. The infielder has hit safely in just four of 15 games in September, batting .093 this month despite knocking three homers. The late-season slump has dropped his slash line to .229/.312/.408 with a career-high 19 homers, 66 RBI, 67 runs scored and 26 doubles through 137 contests.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Padres' Josh Bell: Sitting Sunday
Bell is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Diamondbacks.
With Manny Machado getting a rare day out of the field and handling designated hitter duties in the series finale, Bell will sit for the second time in three games. Since being acquired Aug. 2 from the Nationals, Bell has turned in a underwhelming .203/.313/.301 in 40 games. He may have to fight with Wil Myers for one spot in the Padres' everyday lineup over the final two and a half weeks of the season.
