LaMonte Wade LF | HOU
Giants' LaMonte Wade: Opens scoring Tuesday
Wade went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-4 loss to the Padres.
Wade has gone yard twice in his last three games, an encouraging uptick after he hit the same number of homers in 20 contests in July. The 28-year-old's first-inning blast was the Giants' only run until they rallied for three more in the ninth. Through 113 plate appearances, Wade is slashing .189/.310/.400 with five homers, 17 RBI and 11 runs scored. He's often been the odd man out in the Giants' lefty-heavy outfield when a southpaw starts for the opponent.

C.J. Cron 1B | BOS
Rockies' C.J. Cron: Drives in five
Cron went 2-for-5 with a home run, a double, five RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 16-5 win over the Cardinals.
Cron opened the scoring with a three-run homer in the first inning. In the third, he plated another pair with a double as part of a nine-run frame. The first baseman has recorded five multi-hit efforts through nine games in August, going 12-for-40 (.300) with a homer and five doubles in that span. He's up to a .280/.330/.514 slash line with 23 long balls, 79 RBI, 62 runs scored and 26 doubles through 108 contests.

Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: On base four times
Walker went 3-for-3 with a double, a walk, two runs and an RBI in a 6-4 win against Pittsburgh on Tuesday.
Walked singled home a run in the first inning, doubled and scored in the third, walked in the fifth and singled and scored in the seventh to reach base four times for third instance this season. The 31-year-old is slashing a blistering .323/.364/.710 with three homers and three doubles through eight August contests. Walker's 43 extra-base hits place him top 30 in baseball while his .249 isolated power ranks 13th.

Donovan Solano 1B | TEX
Reds' Donovan Solano: Full-time DH role awaits
Solano will serve as the Reds' designated hitter and No. 5 batter in Tuesday's game against the Mets.
The righty-hitting Solano was already a fixture in the lineup against left-handed pitching when the Reds are at full strength, but he should be primed to get regular starts against right-handed pitchers like the Mets' Carlos Carrasco after Cincinnati placed his platoon mate at DH, Mike Moustakas (calf), on the 10-day injured list Tuesday. Solano owns a .289/.341/.421 slash line in 85 plate appearances versus righties on the season.

Darick Hall 1B | PIT
Phillies' Darick Hall: Day off Tuesday
Hall will sit Tuesday against the Marlins.
Hall will get a breather after he went 5-for-10 with three solo home runs and four runs scored in the three-game series versus the Nationals. Nick Castellanos will start at designated hitter while Matt Vierling enters the lineup in right field and bats seventh in the series opener.

Luke Voit 1B | NYM
Nationals' Luke Voit: Slugs 15th homer
Voit went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Monday's 6-3 loss to the Cubs.
The 31-year-old got the Nationals on the board by taking Keegan Thompson deep in the sixth inning. Voit has come out swinging since the trade from San Diego, going 7-for-17 (.412) through his first five games for Washington with two homers and three RBI, but on the season he's still slashing just .235/.327/.435 with 15 home runs and 51 RBI through 87 contests.

Donovan Solano 1B | TEX
Reds' Donovan Solano: Added to Monday's lineup
Solano was added to the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Athletic reports.
Solano was set to open Monday's game on the bench, but fellow infielder Kyle Farmer was scratched with a sore neck, and Solano will be the player who takes his place in the lineup. Solano will serve as the designated hitter and hit fifth against Mets starter Chris Bassitt.

Donovan Solano 1B | TEX
Reds' Donovan Solano: Takes seat against righty
Solano is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Mets.
Solano went 5-for-25 with two extra-base hits and three walks while starting in each of the past seven games, but he'll take a seat Monday with right-hander Chris Bassitt toeing the rubber for the Mets. The righty-hitting Solano will primarily handle a short-side platoon role at designated hitter moving forward, but his ability to play second base and third base will occasionally allow him to pick up work against righties when Jonathan India and Kyle Farmer need days off.

Darick Hall 1B | PIT
Phillies' Darick Hall: Goes deep twice
Hall went 2-for-4 with two solo home runs, a walk and three runs scored in Sunday's 13-1 win over Washington.
Hall went deep against Cory Abbott in the second and fourth innings. The 27-year-old rookie has hit three home runs in the last two games, giving him seven through 29 career games. He's now slashing .282/.321/.612 with 18 runs scored and 17 extra-base hits this season.

Christian Walker 1B | HOU
Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Opens scoring Sunday
Walker went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 6-4 win over the Rockies.
Walker has homered thrice in six games in August, adding nine RBI and a double in that span. The first baseman's long ball Sunday opened the scoring in the first inning. He's up to 26 homers, 61 RBI and 48 runs scored on the year, but his slash line remains a little shaky at .203/.302/.451 through 434 plate appearances.
