Freeman went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, two RBI and two runs in Sunday's 15-1 win over the Phillies.
Freeman lifted his season average to .311 with another two-hit effort, his fourth in his last five starts. With the likes of Ronald Acuna and Josh Donaldson also in the midst of heaters at the plate, Freeman has benefited from a surge in run-scoring and run-producing opportunities. He's already compiled 19 RBI and 14 runs in 15 starts this month.

Cardinals' Paul Goldschmidt: Breaks through with homer
Goldschmidt went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, two runs and two walks during a 4-3 victory against the Mets on Sunday.
His first-inning blast snapped an 0-for-12 stretch. This was also Goldschmidt's first homer since June 1. He has 13 homers this season, which isn't a bad total, but Goldschmidt only has four long balls since April 23. He is slashing a disappointing .262/.353/.433 with 19 extra-base hits, 29 RBI and 42 runs in 301 plate appearances this season.

Cubs' Anthony Rizzo: Swats game-winning homer in ninth
Rizzo went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 2-1 win over the Dodgers.
The first baseman didn't have any success against Walker Buehler but he stepped up against Kenley Jansen in the ninth inning, blasting a cutter down the right-field line for his 19th homer of the year. Rizzo has gone yard in consecutive games and three of the last six, pushing his slash line on the year back up to .279/.389/.563.

Diamondbacks' Christian Walker: Bombs 12th homer
Walker went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in a 10-3 victory over Washington on Saturday.
Walker connected for a solo homer leading off the second inning to tie the game 3-3. He's been slumping in May and June, going 30-for-141 to lower his average by 55 points. Walker now sports a .252/.330/.479 slash line and has driven in 27 runs in 242 at-bats.

Goldschmidt is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mets.
Goldschmidt will sit for just the second time all season. He's been in a slump lately, hitting .167/.239/.214 over his last 11 games. Matt Carpenter will slide over to first base in his absence, with Yairo Munoz entering the lineup at third.

Bell went 1-for-3 with a triple and two RBI against the Marlins on Friday.
The extra-base hit was his first in eight games. Bell is slashing just .217/.321/.435 in June (56 plate appearances). He was bound to cool off following a torrid May and his strikeout rate has increased from 19 percent to 25 percent in June. Despite his recent regression, Bell leads the major leagues with 25 doubles, 63 RBI and 172 total bases.

Rizzo went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Dodgers.
The first baseman's 18th home run of the year opened the scoring against Dodgers starter Rich Hill. Rizzo is up to 44 runs and 49 RBI while hitting .280/.391/.556 across 243 at-bats this season.

Beaty went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Friday's 5-3 win over the Cubs.
In his first game back from a hip flexor injury, Beaty made a big impact with a game-tying homer in the second inning. The rookie infielder is hitting .304 with nine RBI and six runs scored in 18 games this season.

Reds' Alex Blandino: Activated, optioned to Triple-A
Blandino (knee) was activated from the injured list and optioned to Triple-A Louisville on Friday.
Blandino had been on the injured list since the beginning of the season after undergoing surgery to repair his ACL and MCL in July of 2018, but he appears to have finally returned to health. He'll remain in the minors for now, though a promotion could be in his future if he can get up to speed.
