Josh Bell DH | MIN
Pirates' Josh Bell: Heads to bench Monday
Bell is not in the lineup Monday against the Rockies.
Despite riding a four-game hitting streak, Bell will take a seat as the Rockies send southpaw Kyle Freeland to the mound. Jose Osuna will draw the start at first base in his stead.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Mets' Wilmer Flores: Takes seat Monday
Flores is not in the lineup for Monday's series opener against the Cubs, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.
With righty-throwing John Lackey taking the mound for Chicago's north side team, Flores will head to the bench in favor of Jose Reyes. The 25-year-old is slashing a healthy .326/.349/.507 with five homers in 138 at-bats this season.

Paul Goldschmidt 1B | NYY
Diamondbacks' Paul Goldschmidt: Hits grand slam
Goldschmidt cracked a grand slam as part of a 3-for-5 effort in Sunday's 11-1 win over the Brewers.
Goldschmidt also added two doubles to his ledger Sunday, but his eighth-inning slam stuffed his stat sheet. He is hitting .406 with two home runs and 12 RBI in 41 plate appearances this month.

Wilmer Flores 1B | SF
Mets' Wilmer Flores: Has huge day against Braves
Flores went 6-for-9 with two doubles, a triple, an RBI and three runs during Saturday's two wins over Atlanta in their doubleheader.
The 25-year-old infielder owns a .333/.359/.519 slash line with five home runs, 17 RBI and 19 runs through 145 plate appearances this season, and the bulk of those numbers have come over the past month. Flores has hit his way into a full-time gig, and his fantasy value is trending up. Being eligible at multiple positions is also a nice bonus.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Cubs' Anthony Rizzo: Reaches base four times Friday
Rizzo went 1-for-2 with three walks and two runs scored in Friday's 5-3 loss to the Rockies.
He and Kris Bryant drew six walks between them as Colorado pitchers (intentionally or otherwise) didn't give Chicago's two big sluggers a chance to beat them. Rizzo's .247 batting average on the season remains far below expectations, but he's now 9-for-20 (.450) over his last six games with seven walks.

Paul Goldschmidt 1B | NYY
Diamondbacks' Paul Goldschmidt: Plates another run Thursday
Goldschmidt went 2-for-3 with a run and an RBI in Thursday's 15-3 win over the Padres.
Chris Iannetta stole the show with a seven-RBI performance out of the two-hole, leaving fewer run-producing opportunities available for Goldschmidt behind him in the order. It was nonetheless another productive showing for the first baseman, who also drew a walk in addition to the pair of hits. He's opened June on a high note with a .381 average, one home run , seven RBI and seven runs in seven games.

Josh Bell DH | MIN
Pirates' Josh Bell: Retreats to bench Thursday
Bell is not in the lineup Thursday against the Marlins.
Bell has more strikeouts (eight) than hits (four) in the month of June, so he'll head to the bench for a night off. John Jaso will take over to replace him at first base.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Goes 4-for-4 against Cards
Votto went 4-for-4 with a two-run home run and two runs scored during Thursday's win over St. Louis.
It was the second game in a row Votto left the yard, and he's now up to a .300/.423/.595 slash line with 16 homers, 48 RBI and 45 runs. He's providing elite fantasy numbers and continues to be the driving force behind the high-scoring Cincinnati offense.

Joey Votto 1B | TOR
Reds' Joey Votto: Pounds 15th homer Wednesday
Votto went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 6-4 win over the Cardinals.
The 33-year-old's huge first half continues, and Votto now has 15 homers and 46 RBI through 58 games. Wednesday's performance snapped a seven-game streak with a walk, and the first baseman is slashing .310/.444/.690 with three home runs, seven RBI and six runs over that eight-game stretch.

Anthony Rizzo 1B | NYY
Cubs' Anthony Rizzo: Homers, drives in four against Marlins
Rizzo went 2-for-5 with a homer, four RBI and two runs in a winning effort against the Marlins on Tuesday.
His three-run shot in the fifth inning ended up providing all the margin the Cubs would need. Rizzo had been slumping recently, going just 4-for-23 (.174) without a homer over the past seven games -- part of a season-long struggle to hit for average, as he's lingering at .236. However, he's also walked more than he's struck out, and there's no way he won't bring that .216 BABIP up as the season wears on.
