Lowe went 2-for-3 with a home run, two RBI, two runs scored and a walk in the Rays' 8-2 win over the Indians on Sunday.

Lowe drew the start at DH after being called up earlier Sunday and did not disappoint, as his two-run bomb in the fourth inning proved to be the game-winning RBI. He was kept in the minors longer than his performance dictated because the Rays did not want to designate Ji-Man Choi or Jesus Aguilar for assignment, but now that rosters have expanded, Lowe should be in the lineup more often than not.

Alonso went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Sunday's loss to Philadelphia.

Alonso got the Mets on the board with a homer to left field in the first inning. The blast extended his franchise single-season home run record to 43, tied for the major-league lead. Alonso is enjoying a phenomenal rookie season, complementing his home run total with a .265/.368/.589 slash line along with 102 RBI in 579 plate appearances.

Freeman went 3-for-4 with two homers and five RBI in Sunday's 5-3 win over the White Sox.

After crushing 11 homers in August, Freeman kept the hot streak rolling to start September. The slugging first baseman knocked a pair of two-run blasts before singling in another run in the eighth frame. He's up to 38 long balls with an NL-leading 114 RBI and .974 OPS.

The Angels recalled Bour from Triple-A Salt Lake ahead of Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Red Sox. He struck out as a pinch hitter in his lone plate appearance.

Bour has crushed Triple-A pitching to the tune of a 1.104 OPS, but he was only playing in the Pacific Coast League in the first place because he mustered a .183/.269/.387 through 160 plate appearances with the Angels prior to being called up. Unless the Angels decide to shut down Albert Pujols and/or Shohei Ohtani at some point in September, Bour probably won't get many opportunities to improve upon his ugly season-long line.

France went 2-for-4 with two home runs and four RBI in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Giants.

The rookie infielder hit a pair of homers in May and doubled his career total in Sunday's contest. While he's unlikely to get regular playing time down the stretch, France hit 27 homers with Triple-A El Paso this season, suggesting that he can flash the power stroke on occasion at the big-league level.

Goldschmidt is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of the doubleheader against the Reds on Sunday night.

This will be Goldschmidt's first time sitting since July 21, when the Cardinals also faced off against the Reds. He had a mediocre August, slashing .250/.301/.404 with just four home runs to go along with 15 RBI. He will sit in favor of Rangel Ravelo, who is batting sixth in the Cardinals batting order Sunday night. Goldschmidt will be back in the lineup Monday when the Cardinals host the Giants.

Shaw was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday.

Shaw has split the season between Sacramento and Double-A Richmond, posting a .294/.360/.559 slash line with 28 home runs and 94 RBI. The 25-year-old made his major-league debut last season and had a .552 OPS in 62 plate appearances.

Walker is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers.

Walker started the last eight contests and will receive a breather after posting a 1.041 OPS in that stretch. Eduardo Escobar and Jake Lamb will cover the corner infield spots for the Diamondbacks.

Beaty is not in the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Diamondbacks, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Beaty remains on the bench for the second consecutive contest with lefty Alex Young taking the mound for Arizona. David Freese (hamstring) will start at first base in his return from the injured list.

The Mariners recalled Court from Triple-A Tacoma on Sunday.

Court was one of five players added to the Mariners' roster in the first wave of September callups. The 31-year-old rookie previously appeared in eight games for the Mariners, going 4-for-17 with a home run. He'll offer depth at the corner-infield and corner-outfield spots but likely won't be in line to make more than a handful of starts per week in the final month of the season.
