Bell went 0-for-2 with a pair of strikeouts against Milwaukee on Monday.

He entered the game as a right-handed pinch hitter in the sixth inning, whiffing against southpaw Josh Hader. Bell has four hits in his last 30 at-bats and two extra-base hits in 64 September plate appearances. He's totaled one RBI over the last 13 games despite batting fourth or fifth in the order.

Olson went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, two walks and two runs during Monday's win over Detroit.

The surging slugger now has a homer in four consecutive games and 14 over his past 20 contests. Olson boasts a monster 1.132 OPS with 33 RBI and 25 runs through just 36 games since returning to the big club Aug. 8. While the 23-year-old first baseman is almost certainly overachieving right now, his heater could extend through the end of the regular season.

Duenez wrapped up 2017 with a .252/.304/.402 slash line, 17 home runs, 75 RBI, 65 runs and 10 stolen bases in 132 games with Double-A Northwest Arkansas.

Duenez's 17 bombs were a career high through his five minor-league seasons, and they ranked fifth among Texas League hitters. Furthermore, he finished as the league's only player to hit 15-plus homers while notching double-digit stolen bases. Duenez's strikeout rate (20.5 percent) was up from previous campaigns, but that's to be expected as the first baseman climbs his way toward the majors. At 21 years old, Duenez should receive a nice, long look in spring training next year, especially is Eric Hosmer is lost in free agency.

Bell is not in the lineup Monday against the Brewers.

Bell will head to the bench for a breather after starting nine of the past 10 games at first base and going just 7-for-37 (.189) over that span. Jose Osuna will start in his place, batting fifth.

Olson, who went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Phillies, smacked three homers overall in the three-game weekend series.

Olson's torrid September evokes memories of the effort that fellow rookie Cody Bellinger put together earlier this season, as he now has 10 round trippers and 17 RBI over just 16 games. He has six homers in his last eight games, though he's mostly gotten on base via single otherwise, as the 23-year-old counts a pair of two-baggers as his only other extra-base hits for the month.

Hoskins went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts in Sunday's 6-3 loss to the Athletics.

Hoskins had a tough series against Oakland, going 0-for-11 with six strikeouts. The young slugger hadn't gone three games without a hit since his first three games in the majors last month. He'll try to bust out of his mini slump when the Phillies start a four-game set Monday against the Dodgers.

Cabrera is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Braves, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.

Cabrera is riding a five-game hitting streak (9-for-17 over that stretch), but he'll be given the day off against Julio Teheran and the Braves. Phillip Evans will take over at the hot corner and bat eighth in his stead.

Abreu went 1-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 10-4 win over Detroit.

The RBI were Abreu's 96th and 97th of the season, putting him in position to reach 100 for a fourth straight season. He could become just the third player in history to begin his career with four seasons of 25-plus home runs and 100-plus RBI, joining Joe DiMaggio and Albert Pujols.

Goldschmidt went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Saturday's win over San Francisco.

Goldschmidt hit the home run in the top of the first inning, and it was the only offense that Arizona needed to secure the win. It's been another banner campaign for the slugger, and Goldschmidt is now just a single home run shy of his career-high 36 bombs during the 2013 campaign.

Cron went 1-for-4 with a two-run homer in Friday's 7-6 victory over the Rangers.

Cron took Ricky Rodriguez deep in the bottom of the sixth inning, which proved to be the deciding runs in a narrow victory. The 27-year-old isn't hitting for as much of an average (.255) in September as he was during his torrid August (.308), but he has continued to produce with three homers and 13 RBI through 13 September starts. Despite playing in just 85 games this year, Cron is just one home run off his career-high mark of 16 that he set both in 2015 and 2016, leaving fantasy owners to wonder "what if" had manager Mike Scioscia not toyed around with his playing time in the first half of the season.
