Flores is not in Friday's lineup against the Rockies.

Flores will open the second half of the season on the bench, as the Mets trot out their lineup with T.J. Rivera manning the hot corner and Lucas Duda drawing the start at first. Although Flores is not an everyday starter, the 25-year-old has posted a slash line of .278/.308/.445 with seven home runs and 25 RBI this year, and should earn solid playing time moving forward.

Dalbec (wrist) has been activated and played the last two games for Low-A Greenville. He went 1-for-8 with a double over the two games.

Dalbec had been sidelined since May 10 with a broken hamate bone. Those wrist injuries can sap a hitter's power, which is an important piece of Dalbec's game. The 2016 fourth-round pick slugged .674 over 132 at-bats at short-season Lowell last season.

Stassi has 13 hits and two home runs in just 73 at-bats with the Phillies this season.

The 27-year-old has spent the bulk of the season with the major-league club, but doesn't have much to show for it. Stassi hasn't made back-to-back starts since mid-May and will likely be optioned again at some point, but for now he should see infrequent opportunities as Philadelphia's backup first baseman.

Naylor was promoted to Double-A San Antonio on Tuesday, MiLB.com's Sam Dykstra reports.

Naylor had spent just over 100 games with High-A Lake Elsinore after getting traded to the Padres in July of last year. During his time with the team this season, Naylor is hitting .297/.361/.452 with eight home runs and 45 RBI. The first baseman has shown the ability to hit consistently at the plate while sprinkling in more power in 2017, after slugging just .353 during 33 games with Lake Elsinore last season. He will get his first opportunity at the Double-A level following this move.

Carter was released Friday, Chris Cotillo of SB Nation reports.

Carter had been up and down over the past two weeks as the Yankees tried to resolve their first-base situation, but it looks like his time in the Bronx is finally done for good. Ji-Man Choi has hit a pair of home runs in his first four games in the majors, and the Yankees appear ready to let it ride on Choi rather than hope that Carter can find enough home runs to make up for his massive strikeout rate. Carter's Yankees career will end with a .201/.284/.370 batting line.

Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Sunday's loss to the Nationals.

He's shown absolutely no rust since returning to action from his wrist injury, going 10-for-26 (.385) in six games with two homers, eight RBI and six runs. Freeman's now played five games at third base, gaining eligibility at the position in many fantasy formats, and he should be poised for a huge second half as the linchpin of a surprisingly dangerous Braves offense.

Bour went 2-for-4 with a double, two RBI and a run during Sunday's win over the Giants.

Bour is in the midst of a career year with 20 homers, 59 RBI, 35 runs and a .289/.367/.556 slash line. Hitting in the heart of the lineup behind Miami's three best hitters should also help him to continue seeing plenty of RBI opportunities.

Voit went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Sunday against the Mets.

Voit took Seth Lugo deep in the sixth inning for his third long ball in 14 major league games. The 26-year-old first baseman is off to a tremendous start with a .316/.366/.684 line after hitting .322/.406/.561 in 70 games with Triple-A Memphis.

Charles was released by the Brewers on Sunday.

The 26-year-old first baseman was taken by the Brewers in this year's Triple-A Rule 5 draft, but posted just a 53 wRC+ at Triple-A Colorado Springs.

Cabrera is not in the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals.

Cabrera went hitless in the first two games of the series, so manager Terry Collins will give him a day off to get ready for the second half of the season. Wilmer Flores will man the keystone in his place.
