Santana went 3-for-4 with two doubles, a home run and three RBI in Wednesday's 4-3 loss to the Reds.

The homer was his fifth of the season. Santana has come around after his cold start to 2017 and now has a .270/.370/.556 slash line over his last 17 games with three home runs, 10 runs and 10 RBI.

Flores went 2-for-4 with a double, a walk, three RBI and a run against the Padres on Wednesday.

He's gone exactly 2-for-4 in three consecutive games and is 12-for-26 (.462) with a homer and three doubles over the last eight contests. That stretch has lifted his average to .307, fully 40 points north of last season's .267 mark, but there's reason to think that might not be sustainable. Flores' BABIP is up, but his line-drive rate is down and he's hitting the ball in the air a lot -- not a promising combination. Still, he has the stick to provide fantasy value in deeper formats.

Abreu went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, two runs scored and three RBI in Wednesday's 8-6 loss to the Diamondbacks.

Abreu matched his career high with four hits and bashed his 10th homer of the season. He heads back to Chicago after a very successful road trip, having gone 17-for-46 (.370) with three doubles, five home runs and and 10 RBI over 10 games. The White Sox are off Thursday before engaging in a doubleheader against the Tigers on Friday.

Calhoun is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Rays, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Calhoun is batting just .212 over his past 30 games, so he'll head to the bench for the first time in five games. Ben Revere will enter the fold in the outfield to fill his void.

Shaw has been promoted to Triple-A Sacramento.

Shaw has been on fire for Double-A Richmond, slashing .301/.390/.511 with six home runs and 29 RBI. Despite being drafted as a first baseman, the 23-year-old has played a good amount of left field this season, suggesting a possible call-up if his offensive surge can continue at the next level.

Bour went 4-for-5 with a double, a home run, four runs scored and two RBI in Tuesday's 11-9 win over the A's.

The first baseman has been on an absolute tear, hitting eight homers in his last 12 games with a .429/.500/1.049 slash line, 12 runs and 12 RBI over that stretch. Bour is also producing against same-side pitching, hitting .303/.395/.636 in 38 plate appearances against left-handers this season with the first three homers of his career off them, and on a Marlins team that needs all the offense it can get he should remain locked into an everyday role.

Carter went 1-for-3 with a home run and a walk in Tuesday's 6-2 loss to Kansas City.

The slugger has struggled so far this season to the tune of a .213/.304/.393 slash line, and has seen his power numbers dwindle since becoming part of a first-base platoon. He's only 3-for-his-last-20 at the plate, though two of those hits left the park. Carter's capable of going on a power surge at any given time, especially at hitter-friendly Yankee Stadium, so continue to monitor the veteran as the season progresses.

Abreu went 2-for-5 with a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

The homer was his ninth of the season and third in the last week, and Abreu has a .344/.364/.688 slash line over those seven games. While the 30-year-old's .835 OPS is right in line with his last couple of seasons, it comes with an increased ISO, reduced strikeout rate and a BABIP that's 40 points below his career norm, suggesting that he could be headed for a very productive summer.

Rizzo went 1-for-3 with a two-run homer in Tuesday's win over the Giants.

Rizzo's two-run homer in the fourth inning came on Johnny Cueto's first offering of the at-bat. Rizzo's team-leading 25th and 26th RBI doubled the Cubs' advantage, providing more than enough insurance for starter Jon Lester. Rizzo's production has been down in May, but he is now seven for his last 24 (.292) with three home runs over his last seven games. Look for his bat to continue to heat up as the temperature does.

Santana (knee) is playing right field and batting cleanup Tuesday against the Reds, C. Trent Rosecrans of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Santana is apparently good to go after colliding with the outfield wall during Monday's contest. He'll make his fifth start of the year in right field, sending Lonnie Chisenhall to the bench against southpaw Amir Garrett.
