Naylor went 1-for-3 with two walks, one RBI and one stolen base in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Angels.

Naylor has gone 4-for-14 (.286) with two RBI and two walks over four games since he returned from an oblique injury. All four of his hits in that span have been singles, so it appears he still needs some time to get his power stroke in sync. The first baseman has a .305/.347/.492 slash line with 15 home runs, seven steals, 81 RBI and 41 runs scored through 100 contests this year. He should see the majority of the playing time at first base down the stretch.

Olson went 2-for-3 with a solo home run, an additional run and a walk in Thursday's 8-5 victory against St. Louis.

Olson belted one of five Atlanta homers in the win, slugging a 410-foot shot to center field in the fifth inning. It was his fourth consecutive contest with a long ball, increasing his MLB-leading total in that category to 47. During the homer streak, Olson has gone 8-for-15 with four RBI and six runs scored.

Torkelson went 2-for-4 with a walk, two home runs and four total RBI in Thursday's 10-3 win over the Yankees.

Torkelson went deep in the first inning with a runner on, then repeated the trick in the fourth inning. The young infielder now has 27 long balls this season after hitting just eight of them as a rookie last year. Torkelson's power has been particularly impactful since the beginning of August, as he now has 11 home runs across his last 34 games. The 24-year-old seems likely to reach 30 long balls as he builds momentum heading into 2024.

Schanuel went 1-for-4 in Wednesday's loss to Baltimore, tying a franchise record by reaching base in his 15th straight game to begin his career, per the Associated Press.

Schanuel's third-inning single marked the 15th straight contest in which he's gotten on base since being called up to the majors Aug. 18. That ties a franchise record that Darin Erstad established in 1996. Schanuel is slashing a solid .286/.429/.304 with a 17.6 percent walk rate through 70 plate appearances, though he's yet to go deep or steal a base. Of his 16 hits thus far, 15 have been singles.

Goldschmidt went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run, an additional run scored and a walk in Wednesday's 11-6 win over Atlanta.

Goldschmidt has swung a steady bat lately, batting .309 (17-for-55) with four homers and 11 RBI over his last 15 games. The first baseman's homer Wednesday came in the first inning and set the tone for the Cardinals in their second straight win over Atlanta. Goldschmidt is up to 23 long balls this year while adding 73 RBI, 79 runs scored, 10 stolen bases and a .277/.367/.457 slash line through 135 contests.

Beaty was optioned to Triple-A Omaha on Thursday.

Beaty was riding an 0-for-16 at the plate to earn a trip back to the minors. The Royals will announce a corresponding move prior to Friday's game Toronto.

France went 2-for-3 with an RBI single, a run-scoring double, two walks and two runs in a win over the Reds on Wednesday.

A trio of teammates made more noise via the long ball, but France was arguably the biggest thorn in the side of Reds pitching Wednesday by reaching safely in four of his five plate appearances. The 29-year-old pushed his season on-base percentage to .345 with the busy night, his highest figure in that category since June 25.

Casas went 1-for-4 in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to the Rays.

Casas' ninth-inning single extended his hit streak to 10 games. The rookie first baseman is 15-for-36 (.417) during that stretch with four doubles, three home runs, seven walks, 11 RBI and seven runs scored.

Olson went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Wednesday's loss to St. Louis.

Olson belted a solo shot to right-center field in the sixth inning for his 46th long ball of the campaign. That's a career-high total for the first baseman and the most in the majors. Olson also leads the league with 115 RBI while slashing .270/.375/.591 over 618 plate appearances.

Abreu went 3-for-5 with two home runs, a double and seven RBI in Wednesday's 12-3 win over the Rangers.

Abreu launched a grand slam in the third inning and padded the Astros' lead with a three-run blast in the ninth. Considering he went nearly two months without a homer to begin the season, he's done fairly well to get up to a dozen long balls this year, four of which have come in his last eight games. The first baseman is slashing .236/.295/.365 with 74 RBI, 51 runs scored and 18 doubles through 121 contests overall.
