Brewers' Jacob Misiorowski: Not available to start next weekend
Jacob Misiorowski (arm) is expected to resume throwing Tuesday but won't make a start next weekend against the Marlins in the Milwaukee Brewers' first series coming out of the All-Star break, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.Misiorowski had been lined up to start the final game before the break Sunday in Pittsburgh, but the Brewers opted to scratch him after he experienced some arm fatigue after his previous appearance Tuesday. While the right-hander doesn't appear to be dealing with anything overly concerning, the team will use break as a way to build in some extended rest for their young ace. After covering 141.1 innings between Triple-A and the majors during the regular season and playoffs in 2025, the 24-year-old is well on his way to soar past that mark, as he's tossed 111 innings through his first 18 starts of 2026. Misiorowski appears likely to make his next start during the Brewers' three-game home series with the Mets, which begins July 20.

Brewers' Jacob Misiorowski: Won't start Sunday due to fatigue
Milwaukee Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Jacob Misiorowski won't pitch in Sunday's series finale against the Pirates after experiencing some right arm fatigue coming out of his previous start Tuesday, Sophia Minnaert of Brewers.tv reports.Misiorowski didn't appear to be suffering from any sort of injury Tuesday, when he earned a win over the Cardinals after allowing three runs on three hits while striking out 11 across seven innings. The Brewers are likely just looking to build in some rest for Misiorowski, who said that he'll be ready for the first or second series after the All-Star break, per Minnaert. Including the postseason, Misiorowski threw a career-high 141.1 innings between Triple-A and the majors in 2026, so it's not surprising the Brewers are trying to provide him some extra rest. Robert Gasser will draw the start in Misiorowski's stead Sunday.
