  • Misiorowski (arm) is likely to make a start during next week's series against the Mets, Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports. Misiorowski had some right arm fatigue following his July 7 start in St. Louis, preventing from taking his final turn in the rotation the Sunday before the All-Star break. The Brewers elected to extend Misiorowski's rest by not scheduling him to start this weekend versus the Marlins, but he's in line to take the ball early next week. Between the bout with arm fatigue and a career-high innings pace, Misiorowski's workload will likely be monitored carefully by the Brewers in the second half.

  • Misiorowski (arm) is expected to resume throwing Tuesday but won't make a start next weekend against the Marlins in the Brewers' first series coming out of the All-Star break, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports. Misiorowski had been lined up to start the final game before the break Sunday in Pittsburgh, but the Brewers opted to scratch him after he experienced some arm fatigue after his previous appearance Tuesday. While the right-hander doesn't appear to be dealing with anything overly concerning, the team will use break as a way to build in some extended rest for their young ace. After covering 141.1 innings between Triple-A and the majors during the regular season and playoffs in 2025, the 24-year-old is well on his way to soar past that mark, as he's tossed 111 innings through his first 18 starts of 2026. Misiorowski appears likely to make his next start during the Brewers' three-game home series with the Mets, which begins July 20.

  • Brewers manager Pat Murphy said that Misiorowski won't pitch in Sunday's series finale against the Pirates after experiencing some right arm fatigue coming out of his previous start Tuesday, Sophia Minnaert of Brewers.tv reports. Misiorowski didn't appear to be suffering from any sort of injury Tuesday, when he earned a win over the Cardinals after allowing three runs on three hits while striking out 11 across seven innings. The Brewers are likely just looking to build in some rest for Misiorowski, who said that he'll be ready for the first or second series after the All-Star break, per Minnaert. Including the postseason, Misiorowski threw a career-high 141.1 innings between Triple-A and the majors in 2026, so it's not surprising the Brewers are trying to provide him some extra rest. Robert Gasser will draw the start in Misiorowski's stead Sunday.

  • Misiorowski (10-4) picked up the win in the first game of Tuesday's doubleheader sweep of the Cardinals, giving up three runs on three hits over seven inning. He struck out 11 without walking a batter. All three hits off Misiorowski went for extra bases, including a first-inning homer by Jordan Walker and a third-inning blast by Ivan Herrera, but the flame-throwing righty got just enough run support to collect the win. The quality start was his 12th of the year, while the double-digit strikeout game was his eighth, fueling his MLB-leading 167 Ks in 111 innings -- 30 strikeouts ahead of second-place Dylan Cease and Cristopher Sanchez. Misiorowski is currently scheduled to work the Brewers' final game before the All-Star break, on the road Sunday in Pittsburgh, which would take him out of the running to get the start for the National League in the Midsummer Classic.

  • Misiorowski (9-4) took the loss Thursday against the Reds, allowing five runs (one earned) on five hits across five innings. He struck out 10. While Misiorowski logged double-digit strikeouts for the seventh time this year, he gave up a season-high five runs (albeit just one was earned) in an eventual 7-2 defeat. Misiorowski surrendered a solo homer to Sal Stewart in the first inning before the Reds tacked on four unearned runs in the fourth, capped by a Jose Trevino three-run shot. Misiorowski still leads all qualified pitchers in ERA (1.47), WHIP (0.78) and strikeouts (156) through 17 starts (104 innings) this season. He'll look to get back in the win column his next time out, currently scheduled to come on the road in St. Louis.
