Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Royals' Adam Frazier: On bench for Game 2
Frazier is out of the lineup for the second game of Monday's doubleheader with the Guardians.
Though he won't end up starting in either game of the twin bill, Frazier came off the bench in the Royals' 4-3 win earlier in the day and played three innings in right field while striking out in both of his at-bats. The lefty-hitting Frazier could be a deployed off the bench once again in the nightcap once Cleveland southpaw Logan Allen exits the contest.

Jose Altuve 2B | HOU
Astros' Jose Altuve: Getting night off
Altuve is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
Altuve will exit the lineup for just the sixth time all season in what appears to be a mental day off after he went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Orioles. Shay Whitcomb will spell Altuve at second base while Alex Bregman climbs up from the two-hole to fill Altuve's usual spot atop the lineup.

Jacob Amaya SS | ARI
White Sox's Jacob Amaya: Claimed by ChiSox
The White Sox claimed Amaya off waivers from the Astros on Monday.
Amaya has spent virtually all of the 2024 campaign at Triple-A Sugar Land, where he has slashed only .223/.313/.336 across 291 plate appearances. The 25-year-old is primarily a shortstop but also has extensive experience at second base and a bit at third base. Amaya will report to Triple-A Charlotte.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Royals' Adam Frazier: On bench for Game 1 of twin bill
Frazier is out of the lineup for the first game of Monday's doubleheader versus the Guardians.
The lefty-hitting Frazier has been gaining traction of late in the Royals' regular lineup against right-handed pitching, but he'll take a seat for the first contest of the twin bill. Right-hander Nick Sandlin is opening the game for the Guardians, but lefty Joey Cantillo is likely to take over on the mound by the time that Frazier's turn in the lower third of the batting order would have come up. The right-handed-hitting Tyler Gentry will thus pick up the start in right field in Frazier's stead.

Andy Ibanez 2B | ATH
Tigers' Andy Ibanez: Hits key home run off bench
Ibanez went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and three total RBI in Sunday's 9-4 win over the White Sox.
Ibanez appeared as a pinch hitter in the fifth inning, then went deep in the seventh, giving him five home runs this season. The 31-year-old utility player has a respectable .261 average and .708 OPS, but with youngsters Spencer Torkelson, Colt Keith and Jace Jung now seeing regular playing time in Detroit's infield, Ibanez may see his role shrink in coming weeks. At the very least, Ibanez is an interesting bargain option in daily leagues whenever he's in the lineup.

Colt Keith 3B | DET
Tigers' Colt Keith: Drives in three runs
Keith went 3-for-4 with a double, three RBI, a run scored and a walk in Sunday's win over the White Sox.
Keith singled in a run during the third inning before capping off Detroit's nine-run day with his two-run double in the eighth. It was his ninth multi-hit performance of the month and his seventh over the last 12 games. During that 12-game stretch, he's 19-for-50 (.380), but only four of those hits have gone for extra bases. After some early-season struggles (.595 OPS through the end of June), Keith is now slashing .264/.316/.398 with 29 extra-base hits, seven steals and 51 RBI through 119 games.

Gleyber Torres 2B | DET
Yankees' Gleyber Torres: Drives in four in win
Torres went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run, an additional RBI, a walk and two total runs scored in Sunday's 10-3 win over the Rockies.
Torres put an end to a month-long power drought that saw him go 25 games without a homer. In that span, he hit .260 and slugged .300, adding just four doubles and eight RBI. The second baseman has been mired in a down year overall, slashing .241/.319/.357 through 124 contests. He's at just 11 homers and 49 RBI in 2024 after posting 25 long balls and 68 RBI in 158 games a year ago.

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Angels' Brandon Drury: Ends power drought in loss
Drury went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Sunday's 8-2 loss to the Blue Jays.
Drury ended a power drought dating back to April with his eighth-inning homer, though it had little impact on the result. He missed time with a hamstring injury and an illness, but he hit just .144 and slugged a pitiful .170 over 62 games from April 15 to Aug. 24. While he's maintained regular playing time when healthy, Drury is in the midst of his worst season since 2020, slashing .157/.242/.207 with two homers, 11 RBI, 24 runs scored, six doubles and no stolen bases over 273 plate appearances this year.

Christopher Morel DH | MIA
Rays' Christopher Morel: Not in Sunday's lineup
Morel is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Dodgers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
Morel posted a .907 OPS while starting the past seven games but will sit for Sunday's series finale in Los Angeles. Yandy Diaz will receive a turn at designated hitter while Brandon Lowe shifts to first base and Jose Caballero starts at second.

Adam Frazier 2B | LAA
Royals' Adam Frazier: Sitting versus southpaw
Frazier is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Phillies.
Frazier will sit Sunday for the second straight game as the Phillies send another left-hander (Kolby Allard) to the mound. Dairon Blanco will take over in right field and bat eighth in the series finale.
