Jackson Holliday SS | BAL
Orioles' Jackson Holliday: Flashes wheels in win
Holliday went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base in Friday's 5-3 win over the Rockies.
In his first game at Coors Field, the place where his father Matt played the first five seasons of his career, Holliday made a big impression with his legs as he hit his second triple and stole his second bag in 38 MLB contests. The 20-year-old is still struggling to get comfortable in the majors -- Holliday hasn't had a multi-hit performance in 13 straight games, slashing just .122/.200/.195 over that stretch with a 3:15 BB:K. His ceiling remains sky high, but he's a risky fantasy option for the rest of 2024.

Richard Palacios LF | TB
Rays' Richie Palacios: Ramping up

Brandon Drury 2B | KC
Angels' Brandon Drury: Knocks homer in loss
Drury went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional RBI in Friday's 9-5 loss to the Mariners.
Drury has homered twice over his last four contests after a 62-game power drought. He's still not hitting particularly well, going 3-for-26 (.115) over his last eight games. For the season, the infielder is at a .159/.243/.218 slash line with three homers, 13 RBI, 25 runs scored and six doubles over 284 plate appearances. Most of his lost playing time has been due to injuries, but the Angels could reduce his workload over the final month if they want to get a look at an infield prospect such as Christian Moore or evaluate other members of their current major-league roster.

Andres Gimenez 2B | TOR
Guardians' Andres Gimenez: Homer and steal in win
Gimenez went 3-for-5 with a solo homer, a steal, and an additional run scored in Friday's win versus Pittsburgh.
The Cleveland second baseman slugged a 375-foot solo shot off Carmen Mlodzinski in the fifth inning for his sixth long ball of the year. Gimenez later swiped second base in the seventh to collect his ninth steal in the month of August and 25th of the season. The 25-year-old is now slashing .254/.305/.333 with 57 runs scored and 53 RBI across 528 plate appearances.

Brooks Baldwin SS | CHW
White Sox's Brooks Baldwin: Playing time slipping
Baldwin is not in the lineup for Friday's contest against the Mets.

Nick Loftin 1B | KC
Royals' Nick Loftin: Joining big-league club
The Royals recalled Loftin from Triple-A Omaha on Friday.
Loftin will replace Vinnie Pasquantino (thumb) on the active roster as Pasquantino heads to the injured list. Loftin has been with Omaha since July 30 and has slashed .199/.294/.248 with Kansas City this season, although he has a .358/.436/.494 line at Triple-A in August. The 25-year-old might see plenty of work at first base, though the Royals should also give Salvador Perez opportunities at the position.
