Pirates' Liover Peguero: Homers in win
Peguero went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Saturday's 8-4 win over Atlanta.
Peguero has gone 8-for-30 (.267) with two extra-base hits over eight games in September, though he is maintaining consistent playing time in the middle infield. The rookie is slashing .252/.301/.437 with seven homers, 22 RBI, 19 runs scored and four stolen bases over 42 contests this season. Peguero will likely continue to split time between second base and shortstop, with Alika Williams and Vinny Capra also mixing in on occasion.

Thairo Estrada 2B | BAL
Giants' Thairo Estrada: Returns to lineup
Estrada (illness) is starting at second base and batting second Saturday against Colorado, sSusan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Estrada was a late scratch from Friday's lineup after suffering from a case of pink eye, but it no longer seems to be a problem heading into Saturday's game. The 27-year-old is slashing just .250/.280/.292 across 25 plate appearances since Sept. 1.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Battling knee soreness
Marte left Saturday's game against the Cubs in the seventh inning due to right knee soreness.
After fouling a ball off his right knee in the first inning, Marte's injury caught up to him in the seventh, and he was replaced at second base by Geraldo Perdomo. Marte's injury wouldn't seem to be too severe given he remained in the game for a prolonged stretch after the initial incident.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Exits early Saturday
Marte was removed from Saturday's game against the Cubs in the seventh inning, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
Marte fouled a ball off his right knee in the first inning of Saturday's contest, but he was able to stay in for another six innings afterward. The fact Marte was able to remain in the game for so long likely means he's not seriously injured, but the D-backs will surely keep an eye on him. Marte should be considered day-to-day for now.

Alejo Lopez 2B | SEA
Reds' Alejo Lopez: Joins major-league squad
The Reds added Lopez to the active roster as Stuart Fairchild's (illness) replacement Saturday.
With Fairchild headed for the COVID-19 injured list, Lopez will fill in as a depth piece for the Reds while Fairchild is out. Lopez is slashing .279/.386/.396 across 497 plate appearances in Triple-A this season, and he is unlikely to see many opportunities while with Cincinnati.

Brice Turang 2B | MIL
Brewers' Brice Turang: Records three hits, swipes two bags
Turang went 3-for-5 with one run scored and two stolen bases in Friday's win over the Yankees.
Turang showed off his wheels Friday by stealing two bags and mixing in an infield single among his three hits. The 23-year-old has 20 stolen bases in 24 attempts this season, but the three hits only lifted his batting average to a paltry .222. While the speed is nice, Turang has produced only 17 extra-base hits on the season in 356 at-bats, and none since Aug. 7.
