Nationals' Luis Garcia: Remains out Sunday
Garcia (hamstring) is out of the lineup for Sunday's contest against the Rockies.
Garcia will miss at least one more game after being pulled from Friday's contest with tightness in his hamstring. Ildemaro Vargas will get the start at second base and hit eighth against Ryan Feltner and the Colorado pitching staff for Sunday's series finale.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Gets rest Sunday
Marte is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Dodgers.
Marte will receive a day of rest against the Dodgers on Sunday after going 3-for-5 with a homer and three runs scored in Saturday's victory for the Diamondbacks. Geraldo Perdomo will get the start at second base and hit eighth for the series finale.

Nico Hoerner 2B | CHC
Cubs' Nico Hoerner: Stays active on bases
Hoerner went 2-for-5 with two runs scored and a stolen base in Saturday's win over the Rangers.
Hoerner has been a solid leadoff man for the Cubs with a .333 batting average and three stolen bases through seven games. The new MLB rules that encourage base stealing seem to be benefitting the shortstop, and he could surpass last year's career-best total of 20 steals fairly quickly at this rate. That gives Hoerner plenty of fantasy value, though he's still seeking his first home run of the season.

Ketel Marte 2B | ARI
Diamondbacks' Ketel Marte: Swats first homer
Marte went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run, a double and three total runs in Saturday's 12-8 win over the Dodgers.
Los Angeles took a four-run lead after the first half-inning, but Arizona began to claw back in the bottom of the frame when Marte scored following a one-out double. The Diamondbacks then claimed the lead in the second when Marte's two-run shot made it 5-4. The second baseman's big game raised his season slash line to .243/.263/.459, and he's now gotten at least one hit in six straight games.

Luis Garcia 2B | WAS
Nationals' Luis Garcia: Out with hamstring injury
Garcia is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies.
Garcia left Friday night's game against the Rockies with tightness in his hamstring, so it's not a surprise the infielder will miss at least one full game while recovering. Michael Chavis gets the start at second base and will hit seventh against Austin Gomber and the Rockies.

David Villar 1B | SF
Giants' David Villar: Not in Saturday's lineup
Villar is out of the lineup for Saturday's game versus Kansas City, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Villar started the past six contests after being on the bench Opening Day, and he'll take a seat Saturday after going 6-for-25 with two home runs, four walks, five RBI and six runs during that six-game stretch. J.D. Davis will man the hot corner and bat third.

Nationals' Luis Garcia: Day-to-day with hamstring injury
Nationals manager Davey Martinez told reporters after Friday's win over the Rockies that Garcia is considered day-to-day with a hamstring injury, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Garcia left in the sixth inning after grabbing at his hamstring running to first base. Zuckerman notes the infielder was walking around the clubhouse, so while it's possible he could sit out a game or two as a precaution it does appear he's avoided a serious injury.

Nationals' Luis Garcia: Leaves with injury
Garcia left Friday's game against the Rockies with an apparent injury, Mark Zuckerman of MASNSports.com reports.
Garcia grabbed at his hamstring and appeared to be in significant pain after grounding out to end the top of the sixth inning. Ildemaro Vargas takes over at second base and stands to see significant playing time should Garcia wind up on the injured list.

Josh Rojas 3B | CHW
Diamondbacks' Josh Rojas: Sitting against lefty
Rojas isn't in Arizona's lineup for Friday's game with the Dodgers, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
After going 4-for-7 with three RBI over his last two games, Rojas will take a seat with lefty Clayton Kershaw on the mound for Los Angeles. Evan Longoria will take over at the hot corner and bat fifth.
