Peterson was removed from Monday's game after colliding into the outfield wall, but he appears to be good to go as he's slated to bat ninth and man left field. He's batting .192 with 12 extra-base hits and 18 RBI through 53 games in 2018.

Duffy is out of Thursday's starting lineup against the Twins, LaVelle E. Neal III of the Minneapolis Star Tribune reports.
Duffy will get the day off after starting six straight games, going 6-for-24 with one extra-base hit and five walks over that span. Daniel Robertson will shift to the hot corner, with Joey Wendle getting the nod at second base.

Duffy went 2-for-4 with a run in a win over the Tigers on Wednesday.
Duffy opened July mired in a 4-for-27 slump over his first seven games, but he's shown signs of heating up again over his last three contests. The infielder went 5-for-12 with two walks and two runs over the series against the Tigers, and he continues to sport career-best numbers in both batting average (.310) and on-base percentage (.364).

Red Sox's Rafael Devers: Placed on DL
Devers landed on the 10-day disabled list Thursday due to shoulder inflammation, Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald reports.
Devers was held out of Wednesday's tilt with Texas after being a little banged up, and the Red Sox have since decided to shut him down to allow him to return to health. With the All-Star break approaching, the 21-year-old third baseman shouldn't be forced to miss much time, as he'll be eligible for activation starting July 21 versus Detroit.

Indians' Jose Ramirez: Goes yard twice in win over Reds
Ramirez went 2-for-5 with two home runs and five RBI in Wednesday's 19-4 rout of the Reds.
He did all his damage early, putting the first two runs of the game on the board with his first homer, then capping a massive nine-run third inning with his 27th home run of the season. With that, Ramirez tied Albert Belle's team record for homers before the All-Star break, and Ramirez will have four more games yet to pad his total further.

Royals' Mike Moustakas: Smacks two homers in loss
Moustakas went 3-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs and three runs scored in Wednesday's loss to the Twins.
Moustakas' first blast gave the Royals a two-run lead in the third inning, and then he later launched his second of the night and 19th of the year with Kansas City trailing by four in the ninth. Even after the three-hit day, the 28-year-old is hitting just .206 in July, but with 58 RBI on the season he's on track to top last year's career-high total of 85.

Devers will take a seat for Wednesday's series finale against the Rangers, Jason Mastrodonato of the Boston Herald reports.
Devers has gone 2-for-14 with one RBI and four walks in his last four starts. In his place, Eduardo Nunez will take over at third base and bat seventh against right-hander Bartolo Colon.

Bregman went 2-for-5 with two solo home runs and a walk in Tuesday's win over the A's.
Bregman tagged Sean Manaea for a solo shot in the first and later hit another off Emilio Pagan in the seventh. Bregman now has 19 home runs and 59 RBI, both of which are in the top five among MLB third basemen, while his 61 runs are tied for the top spot at the position. The 24-year-old is hitting .333/.442/.639 through the first nine games of July.

Orioles' Manny Machado: Homers twice Tuesday
Machado went 3-for-4 with two home runs, three RBI and an intentional walk in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Yankees.
Machado came up huge for the Orioles on Tuesday, with his solo home run in the fifth inning tying the game 3-3, and his two-run shot in the seventh tying it up 5-5. It was the 26-year-old's fifth two-homer effort of the season, bringing his total to 23.
