Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Two runs in return
Muncy went 2-for-5 with a double, one RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 9-3 win over the Nationals.
Muncy didn't play Monday due to left hamstring tightness, but it appears he's avoided anything worse than a minor issue. He's gone 5-for-11 (.455) over his last three games with two homers, four RBI, six runs scored and two doubles in that span. The infielder should be good to resume a near-everyday role. Muncy is slashing .214/.341/.532 with 17 homers, 39 RBI, 36 runs scored, a stolen base and four doubles through 50 contests.

Nick Senzel 3B | LAD
Reds' Nick Senzel: Good chance to play Wednesday
Reds manager David Bell told reporters after Tuesday's win over the Red Sox that Senzel (knee) should return to the lineup against Boston on Wednesday, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Senzel was scratched late from Tuesday's lineup against Boston with right knee soreness, but it appears it was just a precautionary measure. Fantasy GMs will want to make sure the infielder is back in the lineup against the Red Sox come Wednesday, but it does appear he's avoided a significant injury.

Manny Machado 3B | SD
Padres' Manny Machado: Goes through full workout
Machado (hand) went through a full pregame workout Tuesday, AJ Cassavell of MLB.com reports.
That workout included a "pretty extensive" round of on-field batting practice, per Cassavell. Machado is with the Padres in Miami for their three-game series versus the Marlins, but the current expectation is that he won't be activated from the injured list until they return to San Diego for a homestand that runs from Friday through next Tuesday. The star third baseman was diagnosed with a small fracture in his left hand back on May 15.

Nick Senzel 3B | LAD
Reds' Nick Senzel: Scratched with sore knee
Senzel was scratched from the lineup Tuesday due to right knee soreness, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Kevin Newman will fill in at third base and bat seventh against the Red Sox and right-hander Brayan Bello. Senzel should be considered day-to-day until there is an updating suggesting otherwise. He went 4-for-11 with four RBI during the Reds' three-game weekend series at Wrigley Field.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Returns at third base Tuesday
Muncy (hamstring) is back in the lineup Tuesday versus the Nationals.
Muncy missed Sunday's series finale against the Rays along with Monday's series opener against the Nats after making an early exit Saturday due to left hamstring tightness. It proved to just be a cramp, though, and he is starting at third base and batting third for the Dodgers on Tuesday night versus Washington.

Abraham Toro 1B | BOS
Brewers' Abraham Toro: Recalled from Triple-A
Milwaukee recalled Toro from Triple-A Nashville on Tuesday.
Jesse Winker (neck) was placed on the 10-day injured list in a corresponding move. Toro had registered an underwhelming .258/.344/.352 slash line with one home run and four stolen bases through 43 games this season at Triple-A and seems doubtful to offer fantasy relevance.

Brett Baty 3B | NYM
Mets' Brett Baty: Sitting versus lefty
Baty is absent from the lineup Tuesday versus the Phillies.
Eduardo Escobar will cover third base and bat ninth with left-hander Ranger Suarez on the mound for Philly. Mark Vientos is handling DH duties and batting fifth.

Ryan McMahon 3B | NYY
Rockies' Ryan McMahon: Continues offensive surge
McMahon went 4-for-5 with a home run, a triple and three total RBI in Monday's loss to the Diamondbacks.
McMahon kicked off the scoring in the contest with a big 445-foot solo homer to center field, and he plated an additional RBI in each of the second and fifth frames. The third baseman finished a double short of a cycle and notched his fourth multi-hit performance over his past five games. McMahon is arguably the hottest hitter in the majors at the moment, homering in four straight contests and collecting 11 RBI over that span.

J.D. Davis 1B | LAA
Giants' J.D. Davis: Records first steal
Davis went 2-for-4 with two walks, one RBI, a stolen base and two runs scored in Monday's 14-4 win over the Pirates.
The steal was Davis' first of the season, matching his total from each of the previous two years. He had a rough patch where he went 2-for-19 over seven games in the middle of the month, but he's rebounded by going 9-for-33 across his last eight games. Davis is enjoying a solid bounce-back campaign, slashing .278/.356/.485 with nine home runs, 30 RBI and 24 runs scored through 50 contests. With Thairo Estrada (wrist) on the injured list, Casey Schmitt is more likely to see time at second base or shortstop, allowing Davis to hold down a near-everyday role at third base in the near term.

Max Muncy 3B | LAD
Dodgers' Max Muncy: Expected back Tuesday
Muncy (hamstring) is expected to return to the Dodgers' lineup Tuesday against the Nationals, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
Muncy departed Sunday's game against the Rays with a left hamstring cramp and isn't in the lineup for Monday's series opener with Washington. However, plans for an MRI have been scuttled because it was deemed unnecessary and the slugging third baseman looks like he'll need just one game off to recover from the injury.
