Giants C Hector Sanchez leaves game with ankle sprain
Giants catcher Hector Sanchez was forced to leave Saturday's game against the Rockies in the fourth inning due to a left ankle sprain.
Sanchez was injured while beating out an infield hit, as his foot landed awkwardly on the first base bag. He will go for X-rays to determine the severity of the sprain.

Mets C Travis d'Arnaud homers, drives in four in win Saturday
Catcher Travis d'Arnaud got the party started for the Mets on Saturday. The young backstop slammed a three-run home run in the top of the first inning, giving his squad an early 3-0 lead. They would go on to beat the Marlins 7-0.
The homer was d'Arnaud's 10th of the year. d'Arnaud, who went 2 for 4 with four RBI on Saturday, is batting an even .400 with two home runs and 10 RBI over his last nine games.

Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal back from three-game absence
Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal returned to the starting lineup Thursday against the Reds after missing three starts due to a shoulder injury. A.J. Ellis started all three games in Grandal's absence.
Grandal returns to the lineup mired in a 3-for-30 slump in his last 10 games (nine starts). He has no extra-base hits, two RBI, one run, five walks and 10 strikeouts in that span.

Dodgers C Yasmani Grandal (shoulder) expected back Thursday
Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal likely will return to the lineup on Thursday, but is still dealing with a shoulder issue that will probably bother him for the remainder of the season, per the Los Angeles Times.
Grandal has missed the last four games with the injury, which occured when he was struck by a foul ball in his non-throwing shoulder.
"Hopefully, these days give him the best chance of being healthy, or getting as healthy he can be to get to the end of the year," Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said.

Dodgers catcher Yasmani Grandal is still being bothered by a sore left shoulder, and he is not in the starting lineup for Wednesday's matchup with the Reds. Grandal is unlikely to play on Wednesday either, according to The Orange County Register.
A.J. Ellis will continue to get reps behind the plate while Grandal is out.

Grandal last played Wednesday, when an 0-for-3 performance gave him just two hits in his last 17 at-bats. His slash line remains a strong .284/.389/.489.

Yonder Alonso not in Padres' starting lineup
Padres first baseman Yonder Alonso wasn't in the starting lineup for Friday's game, after starting 78 games this year, including five of the last six.
Catcher Derek Norris moved to first base to replace Alonso for the sixth time this year. Austin Hedges replaced Norris behind the plate.

Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto collects six RBI in Wednesday's win
Marlins catcher J.T. Realmuto drove in a career-high six runs to help lead the Marlins to a 14-6 win over the Red Sox on Wednesday.
Realmuto drove in five of the runs in the sixth inning, which set a franchise record for most RBI in one inning. Realmuto finished the game 3 for 5 at the plate with one triple and a home run. He hit a grand slam off Robbie Ross in the sixth inning.
Prior to his six-RBI game Wednesday, Realmuto was hitting .209 with one home run and two RBI in his last 13 games.

Phillies C Cameron Rupp drives in four in victory
Catcher Cameron Rupp had a big day for the Phillies in their win Wednesday over the Diamondbacks, driving in four runs in the 7-6 triumph.
Rupp managed to drive in four despite registering just one hit. He had a sacrifice fly in the second inning and delivered the big blow in the sixth with a three-run home run to break a 4-4 tie.
Rupp now has three homers and eight RBIs over his last six contests.
