Sanchez went 2-for-3 with a pair of solo home runs in Saturday's win over the A's.

Sanchez provided all of the offense for New York through seven innings and kept his team in the game until DJ LeMahieu walked it off in the 11th. J.T. Realmuto has been the most valuable fantasy catcher this season, but with 32 homers and 71 RBI, Sanchez is right behind him at the position.

Barnhart is not in the lineup for Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.

Barnhart will head to the bench for the second half of Saturday's doubleheader after going 2-for-4 with three RBI in Game 1. In his place, Curt Casali is starting behind the dish and hitting ninth.

Thaiss is not in the lineup Saturday against the Red Sox.

He'll stick on the bench for a second straight game as David Fletcher picks up another start at the hot corner in his absence. Thaiss is hitting just .145 with a .485 OPS in 22 games this month.

Narvaez is not in the lineup Saturday against the Rangers, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Narvaez, who is hitting .222 with a .693 OPS through 19 games this month, will head to the bench for the third time in four games as Austin Nola gets the start behind the dish against left-hander Brock Burke on Saturday.

Gallagher (oblique) is expected to be activated from the injured list Sunday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.

Gallagher has been sidelined since Aug. 7 due to an oblique injury, but he's set to rejoin the Royals once rosters expand Sunday. He'll be eased back into action, likely only catching in emergency situations until he's fully healed. Prior to landing on the IL, the backstop compiled a .238/.312/.365 slash line across 45 games.

McCann is not in the lineup Saturday against the Braves.

McCann has started three of the past four games, going just 1-for-10 during that stretch. Welington Castillo is starting behind the dish and hitting sixth in his place Saturday.

Rogers is not starting Saturday against the Twins.

Rogers will head to the bench Saturday night with a day game on tap for Sunday. John Hicks will start behind the dish and bat eighth in his place.

Murphy will be called up when rosters expand Sunday, Martin Gallegos of MLB.com reports.

Murphy has retained his status as a top-10 catching prospect despite a lot of missed time this season; he underwent surgery on his left knee in early May and then re-injured the knee in late July, necessitating another trip to the injured list. In his 31 games with Triple-A Las Vegas this season, Murphy has slashed .308/.386/.625 with 10 homers and a 15:31 BB:K. It's not clear how much Murphy will play with Josh Phegley swinging it well since his return, but Murphy has upside and is a name to keep in mind this weekend in deeper two-catcher leagues.

McGuire went 3-for-3 with a home run and two RBI in Friday's loss to Houston.

McGuire drove in a run in the second inning and left the yard in the eighth, but the Astros would come away with a 7-4 victory. The 24-year-old has spent limited time in the majors this season, but he's slashing .300/.314/.580 with four homers and six RBI in 15 games.

Mejia was placed on the 10-day injured list Friday due to a right oblique strain.

Mejia had been held out of the lineup for three straight days, and the team revealed Friday that he suffered an oblique injury. Austin Allen was recalled in a corresponding move.
