Keegan (elbow) was reinstated from Triple-A Durham's 7-day injured list Monday and started at catcher and went 0-for-3 with a walk in his 2025 debut with the affiliate.

Keegan was cleared to rejoin Durham this week after he completed an eight-game rehab assignment in the rookie-level Florida Complex League. The 24-year-old backstop spent the entire 2024 season at Double-A Montgomery and produced a .283/.369/.432 slash line with nine home runs across 442 plate appearances.

Alvarez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.

Alvarez went 2-for-5 with a walk and a hit-by-pitch in the first two games of the series and will take a seat for Wednesday's finale. Luis Torrens will step in behind the plate to catch for righty Griffin Canning.

Bart was removed from Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks after being hit in the head with a backswing, Noah Hiles of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Interim manager Don Kelly said after the game that Bart is still being evaluated, so it's unclear if he's suffered a concussion. Regardless, the 28-year-old seems likely to sit out Wednesday afternoon's series finale in Arizona after starting the first two games of the series.

Stephenson went 1-for-3 with a walk and a solo home run in Tuesday's 7-2 win over Kansas City.

Stephenson gave the Reds an early lead with his solo shot in the second inning, his second straight game with a home run. He's had a rough start after spending the first few weeks of March/April on the injured list, but Stephenson has come on recently, going 6-for-18 with four extra-base hits and five RBI over his last five games. He's batting .214/.321/.414 through 20 contests this season.

Davis went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run, a double and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-6 win over the Diamondbacks.

Davis is 4-for-9 with three RBI over his last four contests. The 25-year-old catcher has seen limited playing time this season, batting .204 with a .638 OPS, two homers, six RBI and six runs scored across 56 plate appearances. He hadn't logged an extra-base hit since his first homer of the year, which was April 16 versus the Nationals.

Raleigh went 2-for-5 with a pair of solo home runs in Tuesday's 9-1 win over the Nationals.

Raleigh went back-to-back with Julio Rodriguez in the first inning and added a second solo shot in the fifth. This was Raleigh's third multi-homer effort of the season. He's been locked in with both power and steady hitting lately, hitting seven homers while going 16-for-53 (.302) over his last 14 games. The catcher is up to a .258/.372/.603 slash line, 19 long balls, 37 RBI, 35 runs scored and five stolen bases over 53 contests as he continues to trend toward a career year.

The Rays are expected to designate Rortvedt for assignment Wednesday, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Rortvedt is slashing just .100/.194/.117 through 67 plate appearances on the season and currently sits as the third catcher on Tampa Bay's roster following the acquisition of Matt Thaiss from Chicago on Tuesday. Rortvedt's place on the depth chart makes him the obvious choice to lose his spot once Thaiss is activated, and the former's poor performance could cause him to pass through waivers unclaimed.

Manager Craig Counsell said Tuesday that Amaya (oblique) will likely be out for another 4-to-6 weeks, Maddie Lee of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.

Amaya landed on the injured list Sunday with a strained left oblique, and the results of his MRI confirmed that he will need to spend an extended period of time on the IL. Counsell said the team hopes to have the 26-year-old back before the All-Star break. Until then, Carson Kelly (illness) will likely see the bulk of starts behind the dish with Reese McGuire filling in occasionally.

O'Hoppe (head) isn't in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Yankees, Erica Weston of Bally Sports West reports.

O'Hoppe had to make an early exit from Monday's contest after getting hit in the head by a backswing in the eighth inning. Manager Ron Washington said after the game the decision to pull the 25-year-old backstop was precautionary, but O'Hoppe will now be forced to miss Tuesday's game while Travis d'Arnaud catches and bats fifth.

Kelly (illness) was omitted from the Cubs' lineup against the Rockies on Tuesday.

Kelly did not play Sunday and Monday after being scratched from Sunday's lineup due to an illness. This will be the third straight game Kelly is absent due to the illness, but he may be available off the bench, as Miguel Amaya (oblique) is on the 10-day injured list. Reese McGuire has the start behind the dish and is batting ninth.
