Philadelphia activated Marchan (hand/wrist) from the 60-day injured list Tuesday and optioned him to Triple-A Lehigh Valley.
Marchan is recovered from March surgery to repair a fractured right hamate bone, but the Phillies will continue to roll with J.T. Realmuto and Garrett Stubbs as their major-league catching tandem.

Despite recording four hits in his last three games, Bethancourt continues to alternate starts with Francisco Mejia, who will get the nod behind the plate Tuesday and bat ninth.

Murphy (hamstring) remains absent from the starting lineup Tuesday versus the Phillies.
Murphy tweaked his right hamstring Saturday and hasn't played since, though imaging scans showed only inflammation and he is expected to avoid the injured list. Travis d'Arnaud will catch and bat cleanup for Atlanta on Tuesday.

Reds' Tyler Stephenson: Not in lineup Tuesday
Stephenson is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Rockies.
Curt Casali is starting at catcher and batting ninth versus the visiting Rockies and right-hander Noah Davis. Joey Votto will serve as the Reds' designated hitter and bat sixth. Stephenson has gone 0-for-8 with three strikeouts over his last two games and holds a disappointing .681 OPS on the year.

Orioles' Jose Godoy: Optioned to Triple-A
Godoy was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk on Tuesday, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
Godoy was up with the big club as their backup catcher for a couple days, but the Orioles have elected to swap him out with Anthony Bemboom. The 28-year-old will head back to Norfolk to join the affiliate's catching corps.
