Pasquantino went 3-for-4 with solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 6-3 loss to the Guardians.

Pasquantino opened the scoring with a solo home run in the fourth inning and notched his first three-hit effort of the season. On the year, the first baseman is hitting .212 with two homers, 11 RBI and three runs scored across 58 plate appearances. He also owns a 4:7 BB:K so far, a promising sign that his batting average should trend upward as the season progresses.

Santander went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the Orioles.

Santander had yet to record his first homer as a Blue Jay, but a return to Camden Yards proved to be what he needed to tick that achievement off his list. After grounding out in his first at-bat, Santander took a fastball from Tomoyuki Sugano deep to left-center field for a 409-foot solo home run. Santander has gone 8-for-39 with three runs scored, five walks, one home run, two RBI and 11 strikeouts over his last 10 games.

Pederson went 0-for-3 with a walk in Friday's 5-3 loss to Seattle.

Pederson extended a hitless streak to 18 at-bats and is batting .086 (.334 OPS) for his new team. After a career-best season in 2024 while with Arizona, he gambled on free agency and won, getting a two-year deal with the Rangers. Texas viewed him as the answer at designated hitter, a position from which it got a league-low .584 OPS in 2024, but it has not yet worked out. Pederson has just one barrel (3.8 barrel percentage) and a career-worst 30.8 hard-hit percentage.

The White Sox reinstated Ramos (elbow) from the injured list Friday and optioned him to Triple-A Charlotte.

Ramos landed on the injured list at the start of the regular season due to a right elbow strain. He now appears to be fully recovered from the injury and is ready to begin playing regularly at Charlotte. The 23-year-old slashed .202/.252/.333 in 107 MLB plate appearances last season but showed signs of improvement in spring training, finishing the Cactus League slate with a .745 OPS.

Malloy is not in the Tigers' starting lineup against the Twins on Friday.

Malloy has worked out of the leadoff spot in the lineup in the Tigers' last six games as the designated hitter. He'll begin Friday's game in the dugout while Colt Keith takes on DH duties against Twins right-hander David Festa. Malloy has started the season 6-for-26 with eight walks, four runs scored and four RBI.

Manzardo started at first base and went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Thursday's 6-1 win over the White Sox.

Manzardo, who was recently moved into the cleanup spot, went yard in the first inning for what proved to be the game-winning hit. It was his fourth home run through 12 games, and Manzardo's 11 RBI leads the club. He made only six starts at first base in 2024 compared to 40 at DH, denying him 1B eligibility in more restrictive fantasy formats, and Thursday's game was his third start at the position in 2025. The Guardians' desire to manage the workload of 39-year-old Carlos Santana, Cleveland's primary first baseman, should result in Manzardo gaining some extra positional flexibility later this season.

Heineman went 3-for-4 with an RBI and a stolen base in Thursday's 4-3 extra-inning loss to the Red Sox.

Starting at catcher for the resting Alejandro Kirk, Heineman drove in Toronto's first run on a seventh-inning single as he extended his hitting streak to five games. Although Heineman has gone 9-for-18 with one home run, one double, two RBI and one stolen base through five outings this season, he'll likely remain Kirk's backup behind the plate.

Red Sox manager Alex Cora said Thursday that Yoshida (shoulder) will begin playing in extended spring training games next week, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

Cora noted that Yoshida currently has good days and bad days with how his surgically repaired right shoulder is feeling and won't be cleared for a formal minor-league rehab assignment until he is throwing at full strength consistently. With Rafael Devers at designated hitter and Jarren Duran, Ceddanne Rafaela and Wilyer Abreu absorbing the bulk of the outfield at-bats with the big club, Yoshida faces uncertainty with his playing time once he's deemed ready to rejoin the active roster.

Rice went 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in Wednesday's 4-3 win against Detroit.

Rice broke a scoreless tie with a two-run shot to center field in the seventh inning. The second-year slugger batted in the leadoff spot for New York, which he's done four times in the team's past seven games. Rice has been very productive to begin the campaign, slashing .306/.419/.667 with three home runs, two doubles, a triple, four RBI, nine runs and two stolen bases through 43 plate appearances. His 25.6 percent strikeout rate isn't ideal, but Rice has balanced the punchouts with a 16.3 percent walk rate.

Diaz went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-4 win over the Angels.

Diaz took the second pitch he faced from Reid Detmers deep to right field for a 327-foot solo homer, his first of the 2025 campaign. Diaz has gotten off to a slow start, but he's reached base in six of his last seven outings and has gone 6-for-28 with two walks, three runs scored and a solo homer over that span.
