Turner (groin) is unlikely to play Saturday or Sunday but is not expected to need a trip to the disabled list, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Turner tweaked his adductor Wednesday and hasn't started since, but the Dodgers don't believe the injury to be a serious one. They'll want to give him as much rest as possible but expect him to be ready to go right after the break.

Pederson is not in the lineup Saturday against the Angels.

As usual, Pederson will take a seat against a lefty, with Andrew Heaney on the mound for the Angels. Enrique Hernandez will start in left field.

Miller is out of the lineup for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Pirates.

Miller will head to the bench after an 0-for-3, two-strikeout showing in the first game of the twin bill. Jonathan Villar will take over at second base.

He's considered day-to-day, but with just one day remaining before the All-Star break it wouldn't be surprising to see him held out again Sunday in order to get a full eight days of rest. Max Muncy will man the hot corner in his absence.

Cespedes (hip) might return from the disabled list as early as July 20 against the Yankees, Tim Britton of The Athletic New York reports.

Cespedes managed to successfully run the bases, and he'll either head for a simulated game or a short rehab stint over the All-Star break. If all goes well, Mickey Callaway stated Cespedes could serve as the designated hitter during the Mets' first series coming out of the break. More news on his status should surface as he begins the next step in his rehab.

Blackmon went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in a 10-7 win over Seattle on Friday.

Blackmon has now left the yard five times in his last nine games to give him 19 home runs on the season. His .846 OPS through 358 at-bats is not on par with the 1.000 mark he put up in last season's ridiculous campaign, but Blackmon is capable of putting up hot streaks with the best of them when he's locked in, so that number could stand to rise in a hurry if he's able to keep up his recent pace into the second half of the season.

Turner was held out of Friday's starting lineup against the Angels after tweaking a muscle Wednesday, although he'll be able to hit off the bench if needed. The Dodgers are likely being cautious with their star third baseman, especially since the All-Star break is right around the corner. Turner is set to receive medical treatment for the issue, and he'll likely be reevaluated prior to Saturday's tilt.

Miller is not in the lineup Friday against the Pirates.

Miller has moved into a fairly regular role for the Brewers, starting six of the last 10 games at second base, though he has just a pair of hits in his last 18 at-bats so that situation could be about to change. Jonathan Villar starts at second base Friday.

Pederson led off and went 2-for-3 with a walk, a double and an RBI in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Padres.

Pederson had been situated on the bench over the last two games with the Dodgers facing a pair of southpaws. He returned to his usual role as the club's leadoff hitter against a righty Thursday, snapping an 0-for-17 slump with a two-hit performance in the process. The Angels are throwing two righties in their upcoming three-game set with the Dodgers starting Friday, so Pederson should receive a couple more starts before the All-Star break.

Turner (groin/hamstring) felt his left adductor tighten up in his lone plate appearance Thursday, and he will be forced to miss Friday's contest against the Angels, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports.

Manager Dave Roberts said that Turner tweaked the muscle Wednesday -- which could explain his absence from the starting lineup Thursday -- and the injury flared up again while he ran out a groundout in a pinch-hit appearance against the Padres. The severity of the injury is unclear at the moment, but it will cost the 33-year-old at least one more game. The Dodgers may play it safe with Turner and hold him out for the remaining three games leading up to the All-Star break.
