Reynaldo Lopez RP | ATL
White Sox's Reynaldo Lopez: Fans seven in no-decision
Lopez struck out seven but didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 6-3 win over the Tigers, allowing two runs on four hits and three walks over 5.2 innings.
The right-hander fell one out shy of his 14th quality start of the season after throwing 111 pitches (68 strikes), but Lopez was on the hook for his 10th loss before the White Sox offense broke through in the eighth inning against the Tigers' bullpen. He'll take a 4.66 ERA into his next outing Wednesday on the road against the Yankees.

Jose Leclerc RP | SD
Rangers' Jose Leclerc: Bags seventh save
Leclerc picked up the save against the Giants on Friday, striking out two without allowing a baserunner over a scoreless 10th inning to preserve a 7-6 victory for Texas.
The right-hander remained perfect since taking over the closer role for the departed Keone Kela, notching his seventh straight save with this drama-free effort against San Francisco. His 1.85 ERA and 0.90 WHIP and strong form of late mean Leclerc figures to have a firm grasp on the job for the stretch run of the season.

Edwin Diaz RP | LAD
Mariners' Edwin Diaz: Logs record-breaking save
Diaz got the save against the Diamondbacks on Friday, recording a strikeout over a scoreless ninth inning without allowing a baserunner to close out Seattle's 6-3 victory.
It was a history-making occasion for the dominant right-hander, who logged his 49th save to set a single-season franchise record for Seattle with his latest clean effort. His 2.00 ERA and ridiculous 0.76 WHIP over 63 innings combined with the plethora of opportunities he's been presented with by the Mariners leave little debate that Diaz is the top fantasy closer in the game at the moment.

Joe Jimenez RP | ATL
Tigers' Joe Jimenez: Implodes in loss to White Sox
Jimenez (4-3) took the loss Friday against the White Sox. He retired just a single batter and allowed four earned runs on three hits a walk.
Jimenez started the eighth inning with a strikeout, but he then allowed back-to-back singles, a walk and a double before getting the hook. The 23-year-old reliever, who made his first All-Star Game appearance in July, now has a 4.22 ERA for the season. He's really struggled since the All-Star break, as he's now allowed 12 earned runs over 10.1 innings of work.

Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Pitches well in return
Fulmer (oblique) pitched 4.2 scoreless innings and took a no-decision in Friday's loss to the White Sox. He gave up just two hits and a walk, while striking out four.
Fulmer, who was making his first appearance since July 14 due to a left oblique strain, pitched well, but the Tigers limited him to just 77 pitches in his return. Now that he has one start under his belt, expect the 25-year-old to get stretched out a bit more in his next outing, which is scheduled for Thursday against a tough Yankees lineup on the road.

Jalen Beeks RP | TEX
Rays' Jalen Beeks: Grabs third win
Beeks (3-1) was credited with the win Friday as the Rays routed the Red Sox 10-3, allowing three runs on seven hits and three walks over 5.1 innings of relief while striking out four.
The rookie southpaw wasn't particularly sharp against his former club, throwing 59 of 97 pitches for strikes, but the Tampa offense did more than enough damage to cover for him Beeks now has a 5.20 ERA and 23:13 K:BB in six appearances and 27.2 innings since being traded to the Rays, and he should continue filling a regular long-relief role down the stretch.

Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: Moves rehab to Triple-A
Norris (groin) will start Sunday for Triple-A Toledo, Brian Buckey of The Toledo Blade reports.
Norris will advance to Triple-A after making his last rehab start at High-A Lakeland, where he tossed three innings and surrendered one run while punching out four. He appears to be nearing a return from the shelf after missing significant time due to a strained left groin. If all goes well, Norris could be activated from the disabled list sometime in September.

Ryan Borucki RP | SF
Blue Jays' Ryan Borucki: Tosses quality outing vs. Phillies
Borucki (3-3) allowed two runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out five across 6.1 innings as he notched the victory Friday against Philadelphia.
Borucki surrendered a run in the first inning followed by another in the seventh, but he'd exit the ballgame with a two-run lead after throwing 103 pitches. The 24-year-old lefty managed to put together a solid start after a nightmare performance Sunday against the Yankees (six runs through 0.2 innings). Borucki owns a 4.12 ERA and 1.53 WHIP with 38 strikeouts over 59 frames this season.

Ken Giles RP | ATL
Blue Jays' Ken Giles: Collects 17th save
Giles tossed a scoreless ninth inning, allowing one run and one walk while striking out two as he picked up the save Friday against Philadelphia.
Giles has successfully converted on each of his previous five save opportunities following the series opener. He's allowed one run on two hits while fanning six over that stretch (five innings). The 27-year-old will continue to serve as Toronto's closer down the stretch of the regular season.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: Receives PRP injection
Chapman (knee) received a PRP injection in his left leg Friday and will be re-evaluated in two weeks, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Chapman moved to the disabled list Wednesday after his left knee tendinitis resurfaced, and he is now likely looking at a return in mid-September. Following the injection, manager Aaron Boone stated "I think in two weeks we'll see where we're at," per David Lennon of Newsday. In the meantime, Boone will choose from David Robertson (shoulder), Dellin Betances and Zach Britton when it comes to save opportunities.
