Chih-Wei Hu RP | TB
Rays' Chih-Wei Hu: Recalled from Triple-A
Hu was recalled from Triple-A Durham on Monday, Bill Chastain of MLB.com reports.
Hu will take the roster spot of Kevin Kiermaier (thumb), who was placed on the 10-day disabled list after suffering a torn ligament in his right thumb. The 24-year-old righty allowed six runs on 13 hits and three walks while striking out 12 batters through nine innings in a pair of starts for the Bulls. He'll likely serve as a long reliever during his time with the big club.

Andrew Kittredge RP | BAL
Rays' Andrew Kittredge: Rough relief outing Sunday
Kittredge allowed three earned runs on four hits over an inning in a 10-4 loss to the Phillies on Sunday. He also recorded two strikeouts.
Kittredge was touched up for a three-run home run by Aaron Altherr, and he's now allowed a combined five earned runs in three April outings, which has led to a bloated 5.59 ERA over his first 9.2 innings. The 28-year-old right-hander's versatility figures to keep his workload brisk overall, but manager Kevin Cash undoubtedly would like to see Kittredge generate more efficient efforts than he has in recent trips to the mound.

Blake Treinen RP | LAD
Athletics' Blake Treinen: Notches third save Sunday
Treinen notched his third save in a 2-1 win over the Mariners on Sunday, recording a strikeout over 1.1 scoreless innings.
Treinen needed just 16 pitches -- 12 of which he threw for strikes -- to get four outs. He got the Athletics out of a jam in the eighth upon entering the game, eliciting an inning-ending flyball from Jean Segura with Dee Gordon and Andrew Romine in scoring position. Treinen followed up by mowing down the dangerous trio of Robinson Cano, Nelson Cruz and Kyle Seager in the ninth, keeping his ERA unblemished through five appearances. Sunday's effort was also the 29-year-old's first clean outing of the season, as he'd allowed at least one hit in each of his other four trips to the mound.

Matt Andriese RP | MIA
Rays' Matt Andriese: Uneven multi-inning performance Sunday
Andriese allowed two earned runs on one hit and two walks across 2.1 innings in a 10-4 loss to the Phillies on Sunday. He also recorded three strikeouts.
Andriese worked up to 43 pitches during his relatively brief time on the mound, although the majority of his control issues came while facing his last two batters. Andriese actually generated a pair of 1-2-3 innings, but he walked both Odubel Herrera and Rhys Hoskins to open the eighth before getting the hook, with both eventually crossing the plate as a result of a Maikel Franco single off Andrew Kittredge. Andriese has now been charged with eight earned runs over three of his last four appearances, leading to an unsightly 8.31 ERA over 8.2 innings across five outings overall.

Jake Diekman RP | ATL
Rangers' Jake Diekman: Picks up save
Diekman pitched a scoreless inning, allowing one hit and striking out two as he recorded his first save of the season Sunday against the Astros.
Diekman had an opportunity to get the save after the Rangers deployed Keone Kela during a 1-1 game in the ninth inning. He's struggled through his first eight appearances (three earned runs over 5.0 innings), but he'll look to build off Sunday night's outing moving forward.

Ryan Yarbrough RP | NYY
Rays' Ryan Yarbrough: Allows five runs in loss to Phils
Yarbrough (0-1) allowed five runs (two earned) on three hits and two walks across 4.2 innings while earning the loss Sunday against the Phillies.
Most of the damage against Yarbrough came in the third inning, when he allowed four runs on three hits, a hit batsman and an error as the visitors roared out in front. He hung in the game and completed his longest outing of the season, but he was still unable to make it through five full frames. Yarbrough's ERA still sits at a solid 2.84 for the season, but his long-term role remains uncertain.

Sean Manaea SP | NYM
Athletics' Sean Manaea: Notches second win Sunday
Manaea (2-2) picked up the win against the Mariners on Sunday, striking out four over seven innings while allowing one run on two hits and two walks.
A solo homer was the only blemish on the day, as Manaea allowed just one run for the third time in his four starts this season. The lefty has allowed four long balls and isn't racking up a ton of strikeouts, but otherwise the 26-year-old looks poised for a breakout season, as he sports stellar ratios with a 1.63 ERA and 0.72 WHIP. He'll look to keep rolling when he takes the hill Saturday against the Red Sox.

Drew Pomeranz RP | CHC
Red Sox's Drew Pomeranz: Will start Friday
Pomeranz (forearm) is in line to get his first start of the season Friday against the Athletics, Ryan Hannable of WEEI.com reports.
Pomeranz will be activated off the 10-day disabled list before his scheduled start Friday. He tossed 5.1 innings in a rehab start Friday, and he's feeling good enough to make his regular season debut. Pomeranz is coming off a season in which he made 32 starts and recorded a 3.32 ERA across 173.2 innings, so he's expected to give Boston's starting rotation a boost if he can return to form.

Brian Johnson RP | BOS
Red Sox's Brian Johnson: Monday's start postponed
Johnson won't make his scheduled start Monday against the Orioles, as the game has been postponed due to poor weather, Ryan Hannable of WEEI.com reports.
Rather than playing Monday, the game will be made up on May 17 when the Red Sox and Orioles have coinciding days off. Per Ian Browne of MLB.com, David Price (hand) will pitch Tuesday against the Angels as planned. With Drew Pomeranz (forearm) poised to come off the disabled list in the near future, Johnson will likely return to his spot in Boston's bullpen.

Craig Kimbrel RP | KC
Red Sox's Craig Kimbrel: Earns fifth save Sunday
Kimbrel threw one perfect inning and struck out two batters, collecting his fifth save of the season in Sunday's 3-1 victory over the Orioles.
After throwing seven innings over seven games since the start of the season, Kimbrel has yet to allow a run and has posted a 0.86 WHIP. Sunday's game marked his second consecutive effort with two strikeouts, giving the hard-throwing righty 10 over his seven appearances.
