Matt Moore RP | BOS
Rays' Matt Moore: Allows two runs on six hits versus the Giants
Moore allowed two runs on six hits, struck out five and walked two over six innings in a no-decision versus San Francisco on Saturday.
He allowed a solo homer in the second and pushed across another run by plunking a batter with the bases loaded in the fifth. Over his last two starts, Moore has allowed just two runs on eight hits and struck out 15 in 13 innings. Moore will look to keep this momentum going in his next start Friday versus the Orioles.

Jake Diekman RP | ATL
Rangers' Jake Diekman: Picks up second save Saturday
Diekman pitched a perfect ninth inning while striking out two to earn his second save of the year Saturday at the Cardinals.
After Sam Dyson saved games on Thursday and Friday, Diekman took advantage of a rare save opportunity by protecting a one-run lead. The lefty now boasts a 1.35 ERA to go along with a sterling 0.79 WHIP.

Nick Martinez SP | TB
Rangers' Nick Martinez: Lasts 4.1 innings Saturday
Martinez allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out one over 4.1 innings, but received no decision Saturday at the Cardinals.
Martinez was taking Yu Darvish's (shoulder) turn in the rotation, and left with a three-run deficit, putting him on the hook for the loss. Fortunately, the Rangers scored four runs in the late innings to hand him a no decision. He'll try to make a better impression on team management in his next start Friday against the Red Sox.

Liam Hendriks RP | CHC
Athletics' Liam Hendriks: Expected to be activated soon
Hendriks (elbow) will come off the DL within the next two days, per manager Bob Melvin, Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
Hendriks has been on a rehab assignment for the last week-and-a-half, most recently tossing two innings at Triple-A Nashville on Thursday. It's unclear if he'll squeeze in one final rehab appearance, but barring a setback he'll return to the A's on Sunday or Monday.

Tommy Layne RP | STL
Red Sox's Tom Layne: Throws for first time in 16 days
Layne pitched two scoreless innings in Friday night's loss to the Mariners.
Finding opportunities for the lefty specialist has been difficult -- his last appearance was on June 1 -- but after two consecutive games in which Boston's starters failed to go deep, Layne was needed for a rare multi-inning appearance. His scoreless outing Friday snapped a three-game streak in which Layne's allowed at least one run.

Kendall Graveman RP | ARI
Athletics' Kendall Graveman: No-decision despite seven strong innings
Graveman threw seven strong innings in Friday's start versus the Angels, allowing just one run with four strikeouts and one walk. He did not factor into the decision.
The righty lasted just four innings in his previous start, and he responded by completing seven innings for the first time this season, with the only blemish coming in the form of a C.J. Cron solo home run in the third inning. Unfortunately, the Athletics offense was typically ineffective and left it late before plating the winning run in a low-scoring affair, quashing Graveman's chance at earning a victory. The encouraging outing lowered his ERA to 4.87, and he will look for a repeat performance versus the Angels again on Thursday.

Buck Farmer RP | CIN
Tigers' Buck Farmer: Heads back to Toledo
Farmer was optioned to Triple-A Toledo following Friday's game against the Royals.
Farmer made just one appearance during this most recent trip to Detroit, allowing one earned run during his lone inning on the mound. A corresponding move by the Tigers is expected to come ahead of Saturday's game in Kansas City.

Michael Fulmer RP | NYY
Tigers' Michael Fulmer: Loses second game of career Friday
Fulmer (7-2) pitched 5.2 innings, allowing one run, five hits and four walks while striking out five in Friday's loss to the Royals.
Fulmer was one out away from recording his sixth straight quality start, but served up a solo shot to Salvador Perez, which ended Fulmer's scoreless streak at 33.1 innings. He was hooked after walking the next two hitters. The loss was only the second of Fulmer's MLB career, and the first since May 5. The 23-year-old rookie has provided fantasy owners with more than they could have hoped for through the first part of this season. Fulmer's ERA is elite, his 8.7 K/9 is fruitful, and he dishes one of the better fastballs (94.7 mph) among starting pitchers.

Trevor May RP | ATH
Twins' Trevor May: Set to throw bullpen session
May (back) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session Sunday, Mike Bernardino of PioneerPress reports.
May was placed on the 15-day DL on June 10 with back soreness but he's now set to begin throwing off a mound again. If all goes well during his bullpen stint, a rehab assignment could be on tap late next week. The 26-year-old righty will look to turn things around in his 2016 season once he makes his return in the next several weeks as he's coughed up 14 earned runs over his last 7.2 major league innings (16.43 ERA).

Nick Martinez SP | TB
Rangers' Nick Martinez: To start Saturday against Cardinals
Martinez will take the ball Saturday against the Cardinals, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
It came down to Martinez and Cesar Ramos, and the Rangers opted to go with the 25-year-old righty who managed a 3.98 FIP with just a 42:11 K:BB in 64 innings as a starter at Triple-A this season. Martinez is simply going to keep the spot in the rotation warm for Yu Darvish (shoulder), although if he struggles, Ramos or another pitcher could be given a shot while Darvish is on the DL. There is very little fantasy upside here.
