Daniel Norris RP | CLE
Tigers' Daniel Norris: Will rehab at Triple-A Toledo
Norris (back) was transferred to Triple-A Toledo on Tuesday to continue his rehab assignment.
Norris is expected to return in late April, so it is likely he makes one or two more rehab starts with Triple-A Toledo before returning to the Tigers. He posted a 4.50 ERA in two starts at High-A Lakeland prior to being moved to Toledo.

Aroldis Chapman RP | BOS
Yankees' Aroldis Chapman: Staying sharp during suspension
Chapman (suspension) has tossed a pair of scoreless innings at extended spring training, the New York Daily News reports.
Per the report, Chapman's fastball has averaged 96 mph during his two appearances and has clocked in as high as 98. It's encouraging that he's continued to stay sharp during his suspension, as he's lined up to take over the closer role for the Yankees upon his return on May 9.

Taylor Rogers RP | MIN
Twins' Taylor Rogers: Returns to Rochester
Rogers was optioned to Triple-A Rochester following Monday's game against the Brewers, Phil Miller of the Star Tribune reports.
Fernando Abad (bereavement) is slated to return Tuesday, thus sending Rogers back to Rochester after only one outing, his major league debut, that didn't even last a full inning. The 25-year-old will be on the short list for a future call-up later in the season, but he seems to be destined for another season spent mostly at Triple-A.

Hector Santiago RP | SEA
Angels' Hector Santiago: Earns first win behind seven shutout innings against White Sox
Santiago (1-0) tossed seven shutout innings in Monday's win over the White Sox with 10 strikeouts and just three walks and two hits allowed.
Santiago had his sinker working wonders Monday night, as he induced 18 of his 20 swinging strikes with it, and all seven sinkers the White Sox managed to put in play went for outs. It was a dominant performance from Santiago, who now has 20 strikeouts in 20.2 innings this season and has gone at least six innings in all three of his starts.

Justin Wilson RP | BOS
Tigers' Justin Wilson: Among AL leaders in holds
Wilson has five holds in six appearances and has fired eight strikeouts in 5.3 innings of work.
Wilson is tied for the AL lead in holds and sports a 0.00 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and opponents are hitting just .167 against him. Roster him up in leagues that count holds -- his ability to strike guys out enhances his value in a big way.

Drew VerHagen RP | STL
Tigers' Drew VerHagen: Pitching fine, but numbers inflated by one bad inning
VerHagen has pitched well in relief early this season, but one bad outing against the Pirates last week have ballooned his WHIP to 2.00.
He allowed more hits (five) in 0.2 innings against the Pirates than he has in 5.1 innings (six appearances; four hits total). At 6-foot-6, VerHagen has the potential to have his pitches arrive on top of hitters quickly, but he hasn't overpowered anyone so far. He has just a single strikeout to his resume and that was in his first appearance. VerHagen will boot around the pen in the middle innings, at least for now, and his peripherals just don't warrant ownership at this point.

Alex Colome RP | CHW
Rays' Alex Colome: Picks up first save Sunday
Colome worked the final 1.2 innings of Sunday's win over the White Sox, giving up no runs and walking one while striking out two, to pick up his first save of the season.
It's the second time in four appearances that Colome has pitched more than one inning, a good indication that while he's nominally the Rays' closer while Brad Boxberger (abdomen) is sidelined, he won't be used exclusively in the ninth inning. Colome now has a 1.59 ERA and six strikeouts versus one walk through 5.2 innings.

Matt Moore RP | BOS
Rays' Matt Moore: Strikes out 10, picks up first win Sunday
Moore (1-0) was dominant in Sunday's win over the White Sox, allowing two runs on five hits over 6.1 innings while striking out 10 without walking a batter.
His control has been particularly impressive so far in 2016, and Moore now has a 2.95 ERA and 21:3 K:BB through 18.1 innings (three starts). He'll face a tough test next Saturday, however, when the Rays are on the road against the Yankees.

Dellin Betances RP | LAD
Yankees' Dellin Betances: Strikes out side Sunday to notch third hold
Betances needed just 13 pitches to strike out the side in Sunday's 4-3 win over the Mariners, picking up his third hold of the season.
Once Aroldis Chapman returns from his suspension in May, Betances will be bumped down to seventh-inning duty in the Yankees' bullpen, but that shouldn't impact his ability to make a strong contribution in strikeouts and ratios. Through six innings this season, Betances has yet to allow a run, giving up just three hits and two walks while striking out 15.

Aaron Loup RP | LAA
Blue Jays' Aaron Loup: Throws from 90 feet Sunday
Loup (elbow) was able to throw from 90 feet Sunday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet reports.
Loup said he's no longer experiencing any pain in his elbow after he was diagnosed with a flexor tendon strain early in spring training, but because of the extensive time he missed, it may take him a little longer before he comes off the DL. He'll likely expand his throwing distance in the coming days before perhaps tossing a bullpen session.
