  • Jose Castillo RP | NYM

Mets' Jose Castillo: Pushed off 40-man roster

The Mets designated Castillo for assignment Sunday.

Castillo will lose his spot on the 40-man roster with the Mets needing to clear a spot for left-hander Gregory Soto, who has reported to the team after being acquired from the Orioles on Friday. Over his 19 appearances at the big-league level this season between the Diamondbacks and Mets, Castillo has produced a 5.30 ERA and 1.93 WHIP while striking out 20 batters over 18.2 innings.

  • Dodgers' Edgardo Henriquez: Sent down to Triple-A

The Dodgers optioned Henriquez to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Henriquez was up with the Dodgers for a little less than a week and made three relief appearances, tossing 2.1 scoreless frames and collecting one hold. He'll give up his spot in the bullpen to Justin Wrobleski.

  • Will Klein RP | LAD

Dodgers' Will Klein: Moving down to Triple-A

The Dodgers optioned Klein to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

He'll give up his spot in the Los Angeles bullpen to Blake Treinen (forearm). During his four-week stay with the Dodgers, Klein made eight relief appearances and gave up six runs (four earned) on nine hits and eight walks over seven innings.

  • Dodgers' Justin Wrobleski: Joins big-league bullpen

The Dodgers recalled Wrobleski from Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday.

Wrobleski looks poised to operate as a more traditional reliever during this stint with the big club. With Shohei Ohtani likely to build up to four innings in his next start Wednesday and Blake Snell on track to return from the 60-day injured list later in the week, the Dodgers won't have an opening in the rotation for Wrobleski, who has logged a 4.50 ERA and 1.20 WHIP over 40 innings in the majors this season.

  • Blake Treinen RP | LAD

Dodgers' Blake Treinen: Makes return from IL

The Dodgers reinstated Treinen (forearm) from the 60-day injured list Sunday.

Treinen has been cleared to rejoin the Los Angeles bullpen for the first time since mid-April following a prolonged recovery from a right forearm injury. The veteran righty struck out 10 batters while allowing just two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk over seven rehab innings between the rookie-level Arizona Complex League and Triple-A Oklahoma City. Treinen could enter the mix for saves after Tanner Scott (elbow) was recently placed on the 15-day IL, but the Dodgers' ninth-inning picture is already crowded even before any trade-deadline acquisitions are added to the roster.

  • Angel Chivilli RP | NYY

Rockies' Angel Chivilli: Moves up to majors

The Rockies recalled Chivilli from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Chivilli will take the spot of Ryan Rolison, who was demoted to Triple-A after giving up two runs (one earned) over 1.2 innings Saturday. Over 25 appearances out of the Colorado bullpen this season, Chivilli has struggled to a 5.91 ERA, 1.60 WHIP and 26:16 K:BB in 35 innings.

  • Ryan Rolison RP | CHC

Rockies' Ryan Rolison: Demoted after rough appearance

The Rockies optioned Rolison to Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

After yielding two runs (one earned) over 1.2 innings in a 33-pitch relief appearance Saturday, Rolison was unlikely to be available for the next day or two. As a result, the Rockies opted to swap him off the 26-man roster in favor of a fresh bullpen arm in Angel Chivilli.

  • Jaden Hill P | COL

Rockies' Jaden Hill: Summoned from Triple-A

The Rockies recalled Hill from Triple-A Albuquerque on Sunday.

Hill will be up with Colorado for the second time this season after he previously made three relief appearances in April. The right-hander has maintained excellent ratios (3.72 ERA, 0.76 WHIP and 28:3 K:BB) in 17.2 innings at Triple-A this season, but he'll likely operate as a low-leverage reliever for the Rockies initially.

  • Zach Agnos P | COL

Rockies' Zach Agnos: Shut down with elbow injury

The Rockies placed Agnos on the 15-day injured list Sunday due to a right elbow flexor strain.

During a relief appearance Saturday, Agnos retired just one of the five batters he faced and was charged with four earned runs before being pulled from the game due to an unspecified arm injury. After further evaluation, the Rockies determined that the right-hander was dealing with an elbow strain, an injury that will most likely keep him on the shelf beyond the minimum 15 days. Colorado recalled Jaden Hill from Triple-A Albuquerque to take over Agnos' spot in the bullpen.

  • Giants' Randy Rodriguez: Fans three Saturday

Rodriguez threw a scoreless ninth inning in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Mets, allowing one hit and striking out three.

Rodriguez gave up an infield single but struck out the rest of the batters he faced, throwing 10 of his 14 pitches for strikes. The All-Star has allowed one run in seven appearances this month, posting a 1.29 ERA, 1.14 WHIP and a 7:1 K:BB across seven innings during that span. Overall, the right-hander owns a 0.82 ERA, 0.80 WHIP and a 59:8 K:BB in 43.2 innings this season.
