Finnegan (finger) appeared in relief in Thursday's 9-7 loss to the Rockies, striking out two over a 19-pitch inning while allowing one earned run on two hits.

The appearance was Finnegan's first since he suffered a cut on one of his fingers in a May 1 outing against the Giants. Assuming Finnegan felt fine coming out of Thursday's appearance, he'll be available out of the bullpen for Sunday's series finale with the Angels.

Rogers allowed a hit in a scoreless inning to record a hold in Saturday's 13-7 win over the Cardinals.

The Giants' bullpen has struggled lately, but Rogers has mostly avoided any issues individually, allowing just one run in five innings across his last six outings. The setup man protected a three-run lead in the eighth inning Saturday before the Giants tacked on some more runs. Rogers has a 2.31 ERA, 1.11 WHIP, 9:2 K:BB and seven holds in 11.2 innings this season.

Santos was optioned to Triple-A Sacramento on Sunday, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Santos was promoted from Sacramento on Thursday and will return there after firing 1.2 scoreless innings during his lone appearance for the Giants. He could rejoin the big-league club later in the season when bullpen depth is needed.

Junis was recalled from Triple-A Sacramento and will start Sunday against the Cardinals, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports.

Junis was previously named the starter for Sunday's series finale, and he's now officially been called up from Sacramento. The 29-year-old has come out of the bullpen in his two previous appearances this season, but he covered five scoreless frames in each contest, so he shouldn't face any significant workload limitations in his first start of 2022.

Lamet allowed three runs on one hit and two walks over two-thirds of an inning in Saturday's loss to Miami.

The right-hander had trouble finding the plate in the outing, throwing only 11 of 24 pitches for strikes and walking two batters. He has given up at least one earned run in three of his past four appearances to push his season ERA to 8.59. Once a promising starter, Lamet's stock has cratered due to injury, and his first campaign as a full-time reliever has yet to pan out as the Padres had hoped.

Bruihl was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Bruihl made the Dodgers' Opening Day roster and has a 3.38 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 6:1 K:BB across eight innings, but he hasn't pitched in a week and will now head to Oklahoma City. Robbie Erlin, who served as the 27th man for Saturday's doubleheader, won't return to the minors and will instead remain with the big-league club.

Brogdon was recalled from Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Sunday, Alex Coffey of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

Brogdon made the Phillies' Opening Day roster but was demoted after he gave up two earned runs in two innings across his first three appearances. The 27-year-old had a 3.43 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 50:18 K:BB across 57.2 innings for Philadelphia last season.

Jansen allowed one run on two hits over one inning Saturday to earn the save against the Brewers. He struck out two.

Jansen was handed a two-run ninth-inning lead and immediately found himself in danger when Christian Yelich led off the frame with a double. A Tyrone Taylor one-out single yielded a run, but Jansen was able to close the door without further damage. The veteran closer came into the contest with nine straight scoreless outings and has converted all eight of his save chances this season.

Kuhnel had his contract selected by the Reds on Sunday.

Kuhnel was removed from the 40-man roster after the end of the 2020 campaign but will now receive another big-league chance with the Reds. He has a 4.97 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 12:5 K:BB over 12.2 innings during his major-league career.

Medina was optioned to Triple-A Syracuse but was immediately recalled to serve as the 27th man for Sunday's doubleheader, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Medina has fired 3.2 scoreless frames in two appearances for the Mets this season, but it apparently wasn't enough to retain his spot on the big-league roster. The 25-year-old will be available for Sunday's twin bill before heading back to the minors.
