Roberts was placed on the 10-day injured list with right shoulder inflammation Sunday, retroactive to April 30, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.

Roberts struggled recently, as he posted an 11.81 ERA and 2.86 WHIP in 5.1 innings over his last six appearances, and he'll now be placed on the 10-day IL as part of a move to trim the Cubs' active roster to 26 players. Although the right-hander's injury may have contributed to his lackluster performance, it's possible he's sent to Triple-A Iowa once he's healthy.

Robertson pitched 1.1 scoreless innings to record the save in Sunday's 2-0 win over the Brewers. He walked one and struck out three.

Marcus Stroman dazzled across seven scoreless innings for the Cubs, and then Rowan Wick and Robertson shut the door on Milwaukee. Wick has been good with a 1.23 ERA, but Robertson has been even better with a 0.00 ERA across 10 innings of work, and the veteran has emerged as the team's closer. He leads the team with five saves, while Wick and Mychal Givens have one apiece.

Cleavinger was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Sunday, Eric Stephen of SBNation.com reports.

Cleavinger has two appearances for the Dodgers this season and has given up one earned run on three hits with two strikeouts and two walks over 1.2 innings. He'll head back to the minors with Tommy Kahnle (elbow) being activated from the 10-day injured list Sunday.

Kahnle signed a two-year deal with the Dodgers in December 2020 shortly after undergoing Tommy John surgery, and he'll now join the active roster for the first time. The 32-year-old barely pitched in 2020 prior to the procedure, and he had a 3.67 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 88:20 K:BB over 61.1 innings during 2019 with the Yankees.

Castillo (elbow) began a rehab assignment at Single-A Lake Elsinore on April 22 and has made three appearances for the affiliate, striking out five and working around a hit and a walk over three scoreless frames.

The 26-year-old southpaw has thus far looked good as he makes his return from his March 2021 Tommy John surgery. He re-signed with the Padres on a minor-league deal over the winter and will eventually report to Triple-A El Paso once he completes his rehab assignment.

Cousins was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday with a right elbow effusion, Curt Hogg of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.

Cousins pitched a scoreless inning Saturday against the Cubs and allowed a hit with three strikeouts and two walks, and he'll now be sidelined by an elbow issue. It's unclear how long the right-hander will be sidelined, though he'll be eligible to be activated from the injured list May 11.

Rucker allowed two runs on two hits across two innings of relief in Saturday's loss to the Brewers. He walked two and struck out six.

A two-run home run by Rowdy Tellez in the fifth inning put a damper on Rucker's day, but he was otherwise fantastic in recording all six of his outs via strikeout. The righty has 10 strikeouts across eight innings this season and had 30 punchouts in 28.1 innings last year, so he has shown the ability to miss bats at the MLB level.

Manaea allowed three runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six over 6.2 innings against Pittsburgh on Saturday. He did not factor in the decision.

The southpaw allowed a run in the first inning and two more in the fifth but pitched well overall in notching his fourth quality start of the campaign. Manaea threw a season-high 110 pitches -- the first time he has crossed the 100-pitch threshold this season -- and didn't allow any homers for the first time in three starts. He'll likely make his next start at home against Miami next weekend.

Bard struck out two in a perfect ninth inning against the Reds on Saturday en route to his sixth save of the season.

Tasked with preserving a one-run lead, Bard made quick work of the Reds' 2-4 hitters, retiring the side in order on eight pitches (seven strikes). Bard now has a 2.25 ERA this season and is 6-for-7 in save chances. Alex Colome has grabbed a couple saves, but Bard looks like the clear No. 1 option in the Colorado bullpen.

Jackson was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Jackson was called up earlier in the week, but the Dodgers decided to remove him from the roster so they could get a look at fellow reliever Carson Fulmer. Jackson will likely be among the top options the next time the Dodgers need to add a reliever to the roster.
