Finnegan struck out one batter over 1.2 perfect innings and earned a save over Pittsburgh on Sunday.

Finnegan was called on to protect a 6-2 lead and had no issue finishing off the game. He's converted his last seven save opportunities dating back to Aug. 7 with a 1.23 ERA during that span. Finnegan has nine saves with a 60:28 K:BB on the year.

Wilson (2-7) allowed five runs on seven hits and two walks over 4.1 innings and took a loss against Washington on Sunday.

All five runs against Wilson came via the long ball, and he failed to record a strikeout in the subpar outing. He allowed solo homers to Luis Garcia and Alex Avila followed by a big three-run shot by Lane Thomas. The 23-year-old righty has given up 12 runs through 15.1 innings (7.04 ERA) over his last three outings. Wilson is now sporting a 4.97 ERA with a 41:18 K:BB through 67 frames. He's lined up to take the mound in Miami next.

Lamet (2-4) took the loss in Sunday's 8-0 defeat at the hands of the Dodgers, allowing one run on one hit and two walks with one strikeout in two-thirds of an inning.

Lamet was deployed earlier than expected when starter Blake Snell went down with an injury after just 11 pitches. He entered a scoreless game in the fourth inning as San Diego's third pitcher and retired the first two Dodgers he faced before surrendering a Corey Seager home run and two walks, prompting his removal. San Diego escaped the jam but couldn't touch Max Scherzer all game, giving Lamet the loss. The Padres will need him to pitch better than his 7.36 September ERA down the stretch run if he's going to have a role in meaningful games.

Neris (2-6) took the loss Sunday versus Colorado. He allowed two runs on two hits in one inning.

The right-hander allowed a single to Elias Diaz and a home run to Garrett Hampson in the seventh inning, and Philadelphia wasn't able to recover from it. Neris saw his 10.1-inning scoreless streak come to a close -- during that span, he allowed five hits and four walks while striking out 17. He's pitched to a 3.45 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 82:25 K:BB in 62.2 innings this year. Neris remains in a setup role behind Ian Kennedy after the former lost the closer job in June.

Estevez allowed a hit in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Sunday's 5-4 win over Philadelphia.

For the first time in four appearances, Estevez was able to keep runs off the board. He's still gone 3-for-4 in save chances in that span despite the somewhat unsteady performance. The right-hander owns a 4.58 ERA, 1.43 WHIP and 54:18 K:BB across 53 innings this season while notching seven saves, five blown saves and 15 holds in 55 appearances.

Bednar was unavailable for Sunday's game against the Nationals due to right side discomfort, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic reports.

Manager Derek Shelton revealed prior to Sunday's contest that Bednar wouldn't be available out of the bullpen, and the Pirates' skipper said after the game that the right-hander's absence was due to discomfort in his side. The 26-year-old hasn't pitched since Tuesday, and the Pirates are reportedly considering placing him on the injured list.

Bednar isn't available out of the Pittsburgh bullpen for Sunday's series finale with the Nationals while he tends to an unspecified injury, Jason Mackey of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

According to Mackey, Bednar isn't dealing with an injury involving his throwing arm, but the Pirates haven't offered any further specifics on what's ailing the right-hander. With three saves in his last seven appearances, Bednar appears to have emerged as the Pirates' primary closer, but he now looks to be at risk of missing time while he tends to the injury. The Pirates are said to be considering placing him on the 10-day injured list.

The Dodgers recalled White from Triple-A Oklahoma City prior to Sunday's game against the Padres, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

White's recent appearances with Los Angeles have come as a starter or primary pitcher out of the bullpen, but he'll likely serve as a mop-up reliever during his upcoming stint with the big club with Clayton Kershaw (forearm) on track to return from the 60-day injured list early this week to fill the final spot in the rotation. The Dodgers placed closer Kenley Jansen (personal) on the paternity list in a corresponding move.

The Dodgers placed Jansen on the paternity list prior to Sunday's game against the Padres, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The roster move comes about an hour after Jansen announced via his personal Twitter account that his wife gave birth to the couple's child, daughter Key'Gia. Since Jansen is expected to be away from the team until Tuesday, Los Angeles recalled pitcher Mitch White from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move.

Quezada (illness) was activated off the injured list at Double-A Springfield on Sunday.

Quezada dealt with a lat strain early in the season and then was caught up in Springfield's COVID-19 outbreak in August. Junior Fernandez (shoulder) shifted to the 60-day injured list to clear a spot on the 40-man roster.
