Brooks Raley RP | NYM
Mets' Brooks Raley: Undergoes UCL repair
Raley (elbow) underwent Tommy John surgery with an internal brace augmentation Wednesday, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.
While the Mets didn't list a timetable for Raley's return, the timing of the operation would seem to point to him being out until the second half of the 2025 season. Raley made just eight appearances in 2024, collecting a 9:3 K:BB across seven scoreless innings.

Jorge Lopez RP | WAS
Mets' Jorge Lopez: Removed from 40-man
The Mets designated Lopez for assignment Thursday.
Lopez has been decent on the mound this season with a 3.76 ERA and 1.37 WHIP, but he will be ousted from the Mets after throwing his glove into the stands upon being ejected from Wednesday's contest. Lopez also seemed to publicly criticize the Mets organization during a postgame interview, though he later clarified his statement, calling himself "the worst teammate in MLB." The 31-year-old reliever will likely draw plenty of interest on the waiver wire from other teams in need of bullpen help, and Danny Young will come up from Triple-A Syracuse to fill the open spot in New York's pitching staff.

Danny Young RP | ATL
Mets' Danny Young: Recalled from Triple-A
The Mets recalled Young from Triple-A Syracuse on Thursday.
Young will absorb the roster spot vacated by Jorge Lopez, who has been designated for assignment. The left-handed Young threw three scoreless innings with the Mets earlier this season and boasts a 1.59 ERA over 11.1 frames with Syracuse, although he's also issued 11 walks at the latter spot.

Shaun Anderson RP | LAA
Marlins' Shaun Anderson: Shipped to Miami
The Rangers traded Anderson to the Marlins on Thursday in exchange for cash, Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reports.
Anderson was DFA'd by Texas on Sunday, but his move to Miami will put him back on a 40-man roster. The 29-year-old righty still has a minor-league option remaining, so it's likely he moves back and forth between Miami and Triple-A Jacksonville according to the Marlins' pitching needs. Woo-suk Go was designated for assignment in a corresponding move.

Woo-Suk Go RP | DET
Marlins' Woo-suk Go: Designated for assignment
The Marlins designated Go for assignment Thursday, Craig Mish of the Miami Herald reports.
The move clears a spot on the 40-man roster for Shaun Anderson, who was acquired via trade from the Rangers. Go was just picked up in a trade himself in the deal earlier this month that sent Luis Arraez to the Padres. The 25-year-old has spent the duration of the season in the minors, posting a 3.80 ERA and 18:6 K:BB over 21.1 innings between Double-A San Antonio and Triple-A Jacksonville.

Blake Walston SP | ARI
Diamondbacks' Blake Walston: Rewarded with another start
Walston is slated to start Saturday's game against the Mets at Citi Field.
Walston will stick around as the fifth member of Arizona's rotation after he blanked the Marlins over 4.2 innings while striking out four in his first MLB start Sunday. Though the 23-year-old southpaw came through with a passable showing in his first start, fantasy managers should tread carefully with Walston, who has struggled to keep his walks in check at nearly every rung of the minors. Though he issued just one free pass against Miami, Walston walked four batters in his MLB debut May 1, when he tossed 3.2 innings of long relief against the Dodgers.

Mitch White RP | MIL
Brewers' Mitch White: Booted from 40-man roster
The Brewers designated White for assignment Thursday.
White has bounced around with three different teams this season (Toronto, San Francisco and Milwaukee) and hasn't pitched well at any stop, accumulating a 7.23 ERA and 13:13 K:BB over 23.2 innings. The 29-year-old offers the ability to be used as a starter or reliever, but his lack of minor-league options could limit interest from teams via trade or waivers.

Hunter Harvey RP | CHC
Nationals' Hunter Harvey: Racks up 16th hold
Harvey gave up a hit and struck out three over 1.1 scoreless innings Wednesday to record his 16th hold of the season in a win over Atlanta.
The 29-year-old righty is second in the majors in holds behind the Cardinals' JoJo Romero, who has 18. Harvey has stayed healthy so far in 2024 and produced dominant numbers with a 2.22 ERA, 0.92 WHIP and 33:6 K:BB through 28.1 innings, but he has yet to pick up a save due to Kyle Finnegan also remaining sharp as the Nationals' closer.
-
Kevin Herget RP | NYM
Brewers' Kevin Herget: Summoned from Triple-A
The Brewers recalled Herget from Triple-A Nashville on Thursday.
He'll join the Milwaukee bullpen as a replacement for right-hander Mitch White, who was designated for assignment in a corresponding move. Herget has made two relief appearances for Milwaukee this season, giving up two earned runs over 3.2 innings.

Dylan Floro RP | ARI
Nationals' Dylan Floro: Notches sixth hold
Floro worked a scoreless two-thirds of an inning Wednesday to record his sixth hold of the season in a win over Atlanta.
The veteran right-hander saw a 20-appearance scoreless streak end May 26 against the Mariners, but Floro has overall been a key part of the Nationals' bullpen this season. Through 27 innings, he sports a 1.00 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 19:8 K:BB, and he's been the team's most reliable reliever behind the high-leverage duo of Kyle Finnegan and Hunter Harvey.
