Bummer (1-1) was credited with the win Monday against the Astros, giving up one hit in a scoreless two-thirds of an inning.

The left-hander got the final out of the fifth inning after relieving Darius Vines, and the official scorer elected to give Bummer the win. It's the earliest in a game he's pitched so far this season, but Bummer has been deployed anywhere from the fifth to the ninth inning as a utility arm in the Atlanta bullpen. Through six innings and seven appearances, he's posted a 4.50 ERA, 1.67 WHIP and 5:2 K:BB with zero holds or saves.

Gibault (forearm) will make at least one more rehab appearance for Triple-A Louisville on Tuesday, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.

This will be Gibault's fifth appearance while out on rehab assignment. The right-hander threw two scoreless innings for High-A Dayton and was moved to Louisville, where he's allowed four runs on four hits over 1.2 innings. He's targeted to return April 20.

Finnegan picked up a save against the Dodgers on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect inning.

Finnegan was staked to a two-run lead when he entered in the ninth inning, and he retired all three batters he faced to close out the contest. The right-hander is tied for the league lead with six saves on the campaign, and he's held the opponent without an earned run in all but one of his eight outings. Finnegan came into the season with a shaky hold on the closer role for the Nationals, but he appears to be firmly in control of ninth-inning duties for the time being given his success rate so far.

Vanasco pitched two perfect innings in relief against the Nationals on Monday, striking out one batter.

Vanasco was recalled from Triple-A Oklahoma City prior to the contest and entered in the eighth inning with Los Angeles down three runs. The right-hander ended up finishing the contest, throwing an efficient 14 of 20 pitches for strikes and retiring all six batters he faced. The Dodgers are opting for a bullen game Tuesday, per Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register, so there's a good chance Vanasco will be sent back down to the minors in short order to make room for a fresh arm. That said, his impressive major-league debut Monday should land him additional chances to pitch out of the big-league team's bullpen this season.

Helsley earned a save against the Athletics on Monday, striking out two batters in a perfect inning of work.

Helsley had no trouble slamming the door on Oakland in the bottom of the ninth frame, retiring the side on just 10 pitches, four of which were swinging strikes. After blowing his first save chance of the campaign against the Dodgers on March 30, the right-hander has been successful on each of his subsequent six attempts, and he's held the opponent scoreless in seven of his past eight outings. On the season, Helsley has an impressive 11:1 K:BB over nine innings.

Doval picked up the save Monday, allowing one hit and no walks with two strikeouts across 1.1 scoreless innings.

Doval retired four of the five batters he faced Monday to earn his second save of the campaign. After racking up 39 saves a season ago, Doval has only seen two save chances and has only made four appearances this far. However, he'll likely have opportunities to enhance those numbers with two more games coming against the 3-14 Marlins and a four-game series against the Diamondbacks left this week.

Vines allowed one run on four hits and three walks over 4.2 innings in a no-decision Monday. He struck out four in the win over Houston.

Vines was tagged with a run in the first inning but was able to settle in and put together a decent performance. He threw 46 of 80 pitches for strikes, including nine whiffs. It was Vines' first MLB appearance since Sep. 27 of last season. The 25-year-old likely pitched well enough to earn another turn in the rotation, but Atlanta's long-term plan to replace Spencer Strider (elbow) remains unclear for now.

Diaz picked up the save Monday against the Pirates. He pitched one shutout inning, allowing no hits and one walk with two strikeouts.

Diaz posted his second save in as many days, using 18 pitches to close out the Pirates. The 30-year-old reliever bounced back Monday to fire a scoreless inning after yielding a home run Sunday. Diaz has returned to his role as an elite closer with a 1.29 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 10:2 KK:BB over his first seven innings.

Suarez allowed one hit and recorded one out while picking up a save over the Brewers on Monday.

Suarez entered the ninth inning with two outs. After giving up an infield single, he forced Sal Frelick to fly out to close out the game. Suarez has now converted all six of his save chances with a 1.04 ERA and an 8:4 K:BB through 8.2 innings this season.

Feyereisen was optioned to Triple-A Oklahoma City on Monday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Feyereisen's stint with the big-league club lasted only a few days, as he was promoted Saturday. He didn't fare well in his second appearance of the 2024 campaign Sunday against the Padres, surrendering three runs on two hits and two walks in one-third of an inning.
