Stratton was recalled from Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Stratton has struck out seven over 5.1 scoreless innings at Triple-A since the Pirates acquired him from Atlanta on June 18. Evan Sisk (elbow inflammation) was placed on the injured list in a corresponding move.

Sisk was placed on the 15-day injured list Saturday with left elbow inflammation, Colin Beazley of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

The 29-year-old southpaw has a 2.23 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 43 strikeouts in 36.1 innings out of the Pirates' bullpen this year. Hunter Stratton was recalled from Triple-A to take Sisk's place in the bullpen.

Chapman recorded his 17th save of the season Friday against the Angels after tossing a scoreless ninth inning, allowing two hits and striking out one.

Chapman went 4-for-6 in save chances in June, giving up six runs (five earned) and posting a 7.50 ERA and 2.50 WHIP across six innings. Even though this was far from his cleanest outing, at least he got the job done while protecting the Red Sox's three-run lead in the ninth, in the process becoming MLB's new strikeout king among relievers. Chapman has 17 saves in 19 chances this season, posting a 2.10 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 11.6 K/9 across 25.2 innings (27 appearances).

The Yankees recalled Beck from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre ahead of his start Saturday against the Twins at Yankee Stadium.

Beck, 27, has a 1.24 ERA, 0.83 WHIP and 31:10 K:BB in 29 innings over his last five starts at Triple-A. He has a chance to stick in the rotation for another start before the All-Star break due to the absence of Carlos Rodon (elbow), who landed on the injured list Friday.

Bednar struck out the side in a perfect ninth inning Friday to record his 17th save of the season in a 5-2 win over the Twins.

The veteran closer fired 11 of 17 pitches for strikes as he converted his seventh straight save chance, with his last blown save coming May 17. Over 16 innings since then, Bednar has delivered a 0.56 ERA, 0.75 WHIP and 20:5 K:BB, and he's reeled off 13 straight scoreless appearances.

Varland allowed a hit and struck out one in a scoreless inning to earn the save in Friday's 2-0 win over the Mariners.

Varland allowed four runs with a 22:4 K:BB over 15 innings in June, converting all nine of his save chances during the month. He continues to be locked in as the Blue Jays' closer, going 18-for-18 in save conversions this season. He's added a superb 0.96 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 65:13 K:BB through 47 innings.

Scott struck out the side in a perfect inning to earn the save in Friday's 4-3 win over the Padres.

Scott got by on 18 pitches (12 strikes). He's earned six saves and a hold during his active eight-inning scoreless streak, and he has a 13:0 K:BB with one hit batsman in that span. The left-hander is at a 2.02 ERA, 0.70 WHIP and 45:3 K:BB through 35.2 innings this season while adding 12 saves and six holds. Scott's save chances will likely decrease once Edwin Diaz (elbow) returns, which is expected to happen later in the month, but Scott will continue to see plenty of high-leverage innings.

The Astros traded Cosgrove to the Nationals on Friday in exchange for cash, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.

Cosgrove has spent the entire season with Houston's Triple-A affiliate, turning in a 4.30 ERA and 1.44 WHIP to go with a 29:21 K:BB through 29.1 innings. He didn't own a spot on the 40-man roster with the Astros, so he'll slot in as bullpen depth at Triple-A Rochester to begin his tenure with the Nats.

Baker earned the save in Friday's 3-1 win over the Astros, striking out one in a perfect ninth inning.

Baker was called upon to close things out for the second straight game and did so on just eight pitches. It continued an All-Star-worthy campaign for the 31-year-old, who has converted 23 of 26 save chances while posting a 1.83 ERA, 0.82 WHIP and 37:11 K:BB across 34.1 innings this season.

The Yankees will recall Beck from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to start Saturday's game against the Twins, Chris Kirschner of The Athletic reports.

Beck made his MLB debut out of the bullpen earlier this season, giving up two earned runs on two hits and three walks across three innings against the Rangers on May 7. Since then, he's posted a 1.59 ERA and 0.94 WHIP with a 54:20 K:BB over 51 innings at Triple-A, so he'll get another chance to showcase his talents for the big club and fill the rotation spot vacated by Carlos Rodon (elbow), who was moved to the 15-day injured list.
