Dunn had his contract selected from Double-A Arkansas on Tuesday, Ryan Divish of The Seattle Times reports.

Dunn posted a 3.55 ERA and 1.20 WHIP with a 158:39 K:BB over 131.2 innings this season as a starter, though he figures to head to the bullpen for the final few weeks of the season in Seattle.

Gibson (abdomen) was reinstated from the 10-day injured list Tuesday, Brandon Warne of ZoneCoverage.com reports.

Gibson isn't slated to toe the rubber until Thursday against Washington, but the Twins have elected to bring him off the injured list a few days before his outing. He was placed on the 10-day IL on Sept. 1 due to ulcerative colitis.

Cortes will open Tuesday's game against the Tigers, Evan Woodbery of MLive.com reports.

Cortes is expected to toss the first inning or two before handing the ball to a primary pitcher, likely Luis Cessa. Cortes has surrendered at least one run in each of his last four appearances, so he'll aim to get back on track with a scoreless outing Tuesday.

Blackburn did not factor into the decision in Monday's loss to the Astros but allowed six runs (five earned) on eight hits, a walk and a wild pitch over five innings. He did not record any strikeouts.

The right-hander was forced into extended duty due to Mike Fiers' day ending after a 50-pitch, nine-run first inning. Blackburn took his share of lumps against a red-hot Astros offense as well, but he did manage to eat up some valuable innings and serve as a bridge to Lou Trivino, who came on in the seventh. Blackburn has made two appearances since being recalled from Triple-A Las Vegas on Sept. 1 and sports a 9.00 ERA across his first six innings.

Chirinos (finger) will play catch Tuesday and throw one inning or 20 pitches in a simulated game Wednesday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Chirinos fired a side session Sunday without issue, and he's since been given the green light to hurl a simulated inning later in the week. He's been sidelined with a finger injury since Aug. 5.

Snell (elbow) is scheduled to throw two innings or 30 pitches Thursday for Triple-A Durham, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

Snell looked shaky through two-thirds of an inning for Durham on Saturday, giving up a run on two hits and two walks, but he'll extend out to 30 pitches Thursday. This may be his last chance for action at Triple-A, depending on how long the Bulls' playoff run lasts.

Glasnow is slated to continue building up his pitch count over his remaining starts, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.

The word on Glasnow throughout his rehab had been that he'd only be used as a reliever upon his return, but he started Sunday and Toribio's report indicates that manager Kevin Cash will continue to extend Glasnow's workload. The right-hander worked up to 41 pitches across a pair of frames in his return, and he's slated to work 3-to-4 innings in his next start. If all continues as planned, Glasnow will presumably be built up enough by the end of the regular season to serve as a conventional starter if the Rays are able to clinch a playoff spot.

Bieber (14-7) picked up the win against the Angels on Monday, giving up one earned run on five hits over seven innings, striking out eight and walking none in a 6-2 victory for the Indians.

Bieber just keeps dealing, with this marking his 10th straight quality start since July 24. He's having a dominant season, with a 3.17 ERA and 1.00 WHIP to go along with a blistering 241:38 K:BB across 195.2 innings. The 24-year-old right-hander lines up to take on the Twins in his start in a Sunday home matchup.

Sandoval (0-3) took the loss against the Indians on Monday, giving up three earned runs on five hits over 3.1 innings, striking out four and walking two as the Angels fell 6-2.

Sandoval didn't have his best stuff in this contest, with most of the damage against him coming on a two-run homer he served up to Jason Kipnis in the second inning. The 22-year-old has a respectable 34:13 K:BB across 29 innings, but his 5.28 ERA is unimpressive and he's also on a pitch count limit, meaning he shouldn't be expected to work deep enough into games to qualify for decisions.

Greinke (15-5) gave up two hits and no walks while striking out five through six scoreless innings to earn the win over the Athletics on Monday.

It was nice to get 15 runs to support the cause, but Greinke cruised through six innings, throwing 73 pitches and only allowing two baserunners. The 35-year-old has a 2.99 ERA with 167 strikeouts through 30 starts this season. Greinke is scheduled to make his next start Saturday against the Royals at Kauffman Stadium.
