Chris Bassitt SP | BAL
Athletics' Chris Bassitt: Tosses seven strong innings
Bassitt surrendered one run on three hits and struck out nine over seven innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Blue Jays.
Bassitt's lone run allowed came in the first inning on a solo homer, but he'd settle down to toss six scoreless frames to close out his start. The 30-year-old right-hander has been impressive in each of his first two big-league starts, as he's given up just one run over 12 innings. Bassitt will continue to start until Marco Estrada (back) returns from the injured list.

Kyle Gibson SP | BAL
Twins' Kyle Gibson: Gets second win
Gibson (2-0) allowed one run on three hits while striking out six through seven innings in a win over the Orioles on Sunday.
Gibson didn't have much of a problem cruising through the Orioles, surrendering only three hits including a solo shot by Chris Davis. The 31-year-old has two consecutive quality starts and has not walked a batter in either outing. The right-hander has a 4.88 ERA with a 24:8 K:BB through five starts this season. Gibson will get his next start Friday in Yankee Stadium.

Lance Lynn SP | STL
Rangers' Lance Lynn: Fans nine in win
Lynn (3-2) allowed one run on three walks and five hits in seven innings Sunday, earning the win over Seattle. He struck out nine batters.
Lynn has been all-or-nothing so far in 2019. Sunday was his second outing this season where he allowed one run and struck out nine batters, but he's allowed seven or more runs twice as well. His 33:11 K:BB is solid despite an ugly 5.45 ERA. He'll look to ride this momentum against the Blue Jays next Sunday.

Dylan Bundy SP | NYM
Orioles' Dylan Bundy: Takes another loss
Bundy (0-4) gave up four runs on five hits (including two home runs) with three walks while striking out eight through five innings in a loss to the Twins on Sunday.
Homers have been a problem for Bundy all season, and he gave up two more solo shots in this outing. The right-hander induced another 19 swinging strikes but continues to allow too many baserunners and home runs to be effective. The 26-year-old has a 6.67 ERA with a 34:13 K:BB through six starts this season. Bundy will get his next start Saturday against the Rays.

Domingo German SP | PIT
Yankees' Domingo German: Earns win in lackluster outing
German (5-1) yielded four runs on five hits and a walk in six innings Sunday, earning a win over San Francisco. He struck out four batters.
German cruised through five innings of scoreless work, allowing just one hit in the process. Things got ugly in the sixth, as he coughed up four hits and a walk, letting four runs cross home. Fortunately, his offense provided enough to give him his fourth win of the young season. The 26-year-old will carry a 2.56 ERA into his next start against the Twins on Saturday.

Chris Sale SP | ATL
Red Sox's Chris Sale: Remains winless in 2019
Sale (0-5) allowed four runs (two earned) on four hits and three walks while striking out eight over seven innings in a loss Sunday against the Rays.
Tampa Bay got to Sale early in the ballgame with a two-run homer in the first inning, but he wouldn't surrender an earned run through the next six frames. Despite a solid effort, he was handed his fifth loss of the season. Sale owns a 6.30 ERA and 1.40 WHIP with 32 strikeouts over 30 innings this year.

Tyler Glasnow SP | LAD
Rays' Tyler Glasnow: Picks up victory with solid outing
Glasnow (5-0) allowed two runs on six hits and a walk while striking out nine over 6.2 innings on the way to a win Sunday against the Red Sox.
Glasnow's offense spotted him four early runs, and he would leave the contest with a 4-2 lead after surrendering a run in the sixth and seventh innings. The 25-year-old right-hander has been stellar through six starts this season, posting a 1.75 ERA and 0.94 WHIP with 38 punchouts over 36 innings.

Rays' Yonny Chirinos: No longer drawing start Monday
Chirinos is no longer listed as Monday's starter against Kansas City, Josh Tolentino of The Athletic reports.
Tolentino elaborated that Chirinos will still pitch on Monday, but the team is contemplating using an opener rather than a traditional starter. Chirinos has filled roles as both a starter and follower this season, recording a 3.55 ERA across 25.1 innings to go along with 22 strikeouts.
