Jose Quintana SP | COL
White Sox's Jose Quintana: Strikes out 10 in Coors Field
Quintana gave up three runs in 5.1 innings Saturday, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out 10 during in a no-decision against the Rockies.
The southpaw did just a bit more than survive the hitter's haven, tying his season-high strikeout total he first registered April 26. Though he's failed to throw a quality start in his two July efforts, he boasts a 2.70 ERA with 45 strikeouts and 16 walks in his last seven starts (40 innings). That should command a bit more trade value with the White Sox likely to shop him in the coming weeks. He'll be one of the most popular names on the rumor mill.

Mike Clevinger RP | PIT
Indians' Mike Clevinger: Enters break on high note
Clevinger (5-3) struck out four over six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and two walks in a win over the Tigers on Saturday.
Over his last five starts, Clevinger has managed an impressive 1.67 ERA and 28 strikeouts over 27 innings. Saturday marked his second outing against the Tigers in less than a week, and he surrendered just one run on four hits over 12 innings against the Tribe's divisional foe. After beginning 2017 in the minors, Clevinger will head into the All-Star break with a fine-looking 3.00 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and .184 BAA through 12 games (11 starts).

Alex Cobb SP | DET
Rays' Alex Cobb: Bounces back with gem against Boston
Cobb (7-6) tossed 7.2 scoreless innings in a win over the Red Sox on Saturday. He gave up two hits and one walk while striking out three.
He was helped out by a couple of outstanding defensive plays by shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria, but Cobb was excellent in his own right, which was nice to see after he gave up six earned runs against the Orioles his last time out. That outing and a nine-run blowup against Seattle on June 3 demonstrate the downside in certain matchups, but Cobb has been good far more often than he was bad in the first half. He has plenty of appeal even if the strikeouts are lacking.

Eduardo Rodriguez SP | ARI
Red Sox's Eduardo Rodriguez: Will start July 17
Rodriguez (knee) will start for the Red Sox on July 17 against the Blue Jays, Jen McCaffrey of MassLive.com reports.
The Red Sox set their rotation for the first two series after the All-Star break, and it includes Rodriguez being activated off the disabled list to start at home against Toronto. Of course, that's pending the left-hander's final rehabilitation start Sunday.

Adalberto Mejia SP | MIN
Twins' Adalberto Mejia: Fans six in Saturday loss
Mejia (4-4) allowed four runs on five hits and three walks while striking out six over 6.2 innings to take the loss Saturday against the Orioles.
Mejia held the Orioles scoreless the first time through the lineup, but he started to fall apart after that, as he dropped his fourth contest of the year. He came into this contest having allowed just five runs over his last five outings, lowering his ERA from 5.75 on June 12 to just 4.43, and he's emerging as a fantasy option.
-
Wade Miley SP | CIN
Orioles' Wade Miley: Holds Twins to one run Saturday
Miley (4-7) allowed one run on eight hits and three walks while striking out four over 5.2 innings to earn the victory Saturday against the Twins.
Miley allowed plenty of baserunners, but the only damage he sustained was a solo shot to Miguel Sano, as he earned his fourth victory of the campaign. This was the first time in seven outings that fewer than four runs crossed the plate against him, and with a 4.97 ERA, he's a difficult player to trust in fantasy lineups.
-
Marcus Stroman SP | NYY
Blue Jays' Marcus Stroman: Strikes out six in Saturday victory
Stroman (9-5) allowed one run on six hits and three walks while striking out six across seven innings to earn the win Saturday against the Astros.
Stroman allowed an RBI double to George Springer, but otherwise kept the Astros bats silent while receiving plenty of run support to earn his ninth victory of the campaign. He's allowed just three runs over his last three starts to lower his ERA from 3.69 to 3.28, and he remains a strong fantasy option.

Luis Severino SP | ATH
Yankees' Luis Severino: Fans 10 in no-decision Saturday
Severino (5-4) allowed three runs on six hits and two walks while striking out 10 across seven innings, but didn't factor into the decision Saturday against the Brewers.
After giving up a three-run homer to Domingo Santana in the first inning, Severino shut the Brewers down the rest of the way, and although he left the game with a deficit, the offense picked him up in the ninth inning to save him from a potential loss. Severino has been inconsistent over his last six starts, as he's put together both excellent and disappointing performances, and despite a 3.54 ERA, it's difficult to have clear expectations when he takes the mound. He'll make his next start at a time yet to be determined after the All-Star break.

Martin Perez SP | ATL
Rangers' Martin Perez: Prepping for July 14 start
The Rangers aren't expected to use Perez out of the bullpen in the team's final two contests of the first half, but are tentatively planning to have him start the first game out of the All-Star break July 14 against the Royals, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.
Perez came off the 10-day disabled list to start against the Red Sox on Monday, and the left-hander gave up five runs (two earned) over 5.2 innings. Rather than handing Perez another start in the final game before the All-Star break Sunday against the Angels, the Rangers will instead turn to ace Yu Darvish to take the hill for a second time this week. Assuming the Rangers stick to their plan, Perez will have 10 days to rest up between outings, with Cole Hamels, Darvish, Andrew Cashner and Tyson Ross following him in order in the rotation coming out of the break.

Jordan Montgomery RP | TEX
Yankees' Jordan Montgomery: Optioned to minors
Montgomery was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre on Saturday, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
The move appears to be on a temporary basis, as reliever Ben Heller was recalled to provide some bullpen depth prior to the upcoming All-Star break. Montgomery allowed two earned runs over a rain-shortened 4.1 innings Friday and the Yankees won't need a fifth starter until July 17, so he'll be removed from the active roster for now. The young southpaw finishes a productive first half of the 2017 campaign with a 3.65 ERA and a 1.23 WHIP to go along with an 87:28 K:BB.
