GM hints that Carlos Rodon won't be coming up
White Sox general manager Rick Hahn indicated pitching prospect Carlos Rodon won't be called up during September, according to the Chicago Sun-Times.
"It just wasn’t right time in [Rodon's] development to bring him to the big leagues and and ask him to get big league hitters out," Hahn said. Rodon was the third overall pick in the June draft, but was thought to be one of the closest players to the majors. The club could still bring Rodon up during the month, but it seems unlikely given Hahn's comments.
