Cabrera (shoulder) allowed two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk with four strikeouts across three innings for Triple-A Jacksonville on Wednesday. He's scheduled to pitch again Tuesday, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Although Cabrera took the loss Wednesday, he turned in a quality showing in his first rehab appearance. The 26-year-old is expected to throw four innings or roughly 60 pitches Tuesday as Cabrera gets stretched out and ready to rejoin the big-league rotation. It's unclear if he'll require another appearance with Jacksonville before being activated.

Perez (groin) will pitch for Triple-A Indianapolis on Saturday, Andrew Destin of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Perez has been steadily progressing since being placed on the IL in late May with a strained left groin, and he will take the last step of his recovery by starting a rehab assignment. Per Kevin Gorman of TribLive.com, Perez is expected to throw roughly 75 pitches Saturday as his only rehab start. Prior to the injury, Perez held a 4.71 ERA and a 1.55 WHIP across 57.1 innings with Pittsburgh.

Luzardo (back) won't start Saturday's game against the Mariners, Daniel Alvarez-Montes of ElExtraBase.com reports.

Luzardo experienced back tightness in his last start and was pulled after 77 pitches and showed decreased velocity. While the Marlins initially listed Luzardo as their probable pitcher Saturday, they'll refrain from putting the 26-year-old lefty on the mound against Seattle and give him some extra rest. For now, Luzardo is scheduled to make his next start during a four-game series at Philadelphia next week.

The Cardinals optioned Kloffenstein to Triple-A Memphis on Friday.

Kloffenstein turned in a 1-2-3 inning in his major-league debut Thursday versus the Giants to help out a depleted Cardinals bullpen but will quickly head back to Memphis. The big righty will re-enter Memphis' starting rotation, where he's collected a 3.97 ERA and 1.13 WHIP through 77 innings across 14 starts.

Peterson will no longer start Sunday versus the Cubs after being pushed back in the Mets' rotation, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

It's not clear when Peterson's next start will come, but it now figures to be early next week against the Yankees. Luis Severino has been bumped up to start Sunday in Chicago on regular rest.

Severino will move up in the Mets' rotation to start Sunday against the Cubs, Tim Healey of Newsday reports.

Severino had been slated to start Tuesday versus his former club, the Yankees, but will be bumped up a couple days to take the ball on regular rest. David Peterson had been on turn for Sunday but now figures to take the ball next week against the Yankees.

Mazur did not factor into the decision in a win over the Brewers on Thursday, allowing three runs on five hits and three walks over 4.2 innings. He struck out three.

Mazur allowed one run in the first inning after surrendering a leadoff double to Brice Turang to open the contest, but the right-hander was able to keep the Brewers' offense at bay over the next three frames as San Diego took a 4-1 lead. The 23-year-old's luck would run out in the fifth, however, when Willy Adames chased him from the game with a two-run shot. Mazur has now failed to make it through five innings in each of his last three starts, allowing 13 runs over that stretch while posting a putrid 9:12 K:BB. He's likely to be pushed out of the rotation as soon as Yu Darvish (groin) returns.

Winn (3-8) took the loss against the Cardinals on Thursday, allowing five runs on five hits and one walk over 2.2 innings while striking out two.

Winn ran into trouble immediately, allowing a walk and a hit in the first two at-bats before going on to surrender three runs in the opening frame. He would go 1-2-3 through the second inning but once again failed to retire the first two batters to begin the third, leading to another two runs coming home for St. Louis. The right-hander has now surrendered five or more runs in five of his last six starts and has lost his last five decisions (spanning six starts). He currently holds a 10.38 ERA this month (three starts) after posting an 18.36 ERA through three starts in May.

Blach (3-5) allowed five runs on 10 hits and one walk while striking out two batters over four innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Thursday.

Blach was hit hard in the start -- five of the 10 hits he allowed, including three homers, went for extra bases. It was the first time this season he's served up three homers in an outing, and the five runs he allowed were the second-most he's surrendered in a start this season. Blach is off the fantasy radar given his home park and the fact that he's compiled a 5.13 ERA, 1.51 WHIP and 29:10 K:BB over 54.1 innings this season.

Stone (8-2) earned the win over Colorado on Thursday, allowing two runs on four hits and two walks while striking out seven batters over 5.1 innings.

Stone performed well in the Colorado altitude, as none of the four hits against him went for extra bases. The right-hander was working on a shutout through five frames but fell off in the sixth inning, loading the bases with one out on a pair of walks and a single before getting the hook. Two of those three runners scored after his departure, but that didn't prevent Stone from registering the win. The 25-year-old has become a key part of Los Angeles' rotation in his first full MLB campaign, leading the team with eight victories while posting a 3.04 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 63:25 K:BB over 80 innings.
