Fried did not factor into the decision Sunday, tossing 6.2 scoreless innings in which he allowed three hits and three walks during a 5-2 loss to the Astros. He struck out five.

Fried was sharp through 6.2 scoreless innings and was pulled with 107 pitches after walking Kyle Tucker, his second free pass of the inning. The left-hander was in line for the win, but Houston tied the game at 2-2 in the eighth and went on to win after posting a three-run ninth. Since returning from the 15-day injured list, Fried has struck out nine through 11.2 scoreless innings while allowing just seven hits and three walks.

Greene (0-1) took the loss Sunday, allowing a run on four hits and two walks over six innings against the Pirates. He struck out six.

Greene allowed a run in the bottom of the first before bouncing back with five shutout innings. It was a strong performance from the 23-year-old right-hander, who left his last start after three innings with a right tibia contusion. However, Cincinnati's offense couldn't muster anything offensively, tagging Greene with a hard-luck loss. He lowered his ERA to 3.52 with a 1.39 WHIP and an impressive 30:8 K:BB through his first 23 innings this season.

Velasquez (3-2) earned the win Sunday, allowing two hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings against the Reds. He struck out 10.

Velasquez was dominant Sunday as he allowed just four baserunners over six seven scoreless innings while recording a season-high 10 strikeouts. Velasquez has logged three consecutive quality starts while allowing just three runs in his last 19 innings -- he's 3-0 with 23 strikeouts in that span. Velasquez now has a 3.76 ERA, 1.25 WHIP and 27:12 K:BB through six starts.

Urena (0-4) took the loss Sunday, allowing four runs on three hits and four walks over 3.2 innings during a 9-3 loss to the Phillies. He didn't record a strikeout.

Urena allowed a leadoff homer to Trea Turner in the bottom of the first, and it didn't get much better for the right-hander, who was pulled in the fourth with two outs after surrendering the lead. He's given up at least three runs in all five of his starts this season and currently sports a 9.82 ERA over 18.1 innings.

Wheeler (2-1) earned the win Sunday, allowing three runs on three hits and three walks over six innings during a 9-3 victory over the Rockies. He struck out 11.

Aside from a three-run fourth, Wheeler was sharp through six innings and tied his season high with 11 strikeouts. It was the right-hander's second quality start of the season, and he currently sports a 4.73 ERA with a 34:10 K:BB. Wheeler's next start is tentatively scheduled for Philadelphia's upcoming three-game road set in Houston.

Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said Sunday that Gonsolin (ankle) will likely start Wednesday's game against the Pirates at PNC Park, Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register reports.

Gonsolin was called off his minor-league rehab assignment and looks like he'll instead make his next start with the Dodgers in what will be his 2023 big-league debut. Since he covered just three innings in his lone rehab start, the right-hander will likely be able to work around four innings Wednesday in a game that may bear a closer resemblance to a bullpen day, according to Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Gonsolin may have some rust to shake off, but he should be a strong fantasy option as long as he can stay healthy for the remainder of the campaign. Given his projected light workload Wednesday, however, fantasy managers are probably best off keeping him stashed on the bench or in an injured reserve slot rather than activating him this week.

Cubs manager David Ross told reporters Sunday that Hendricks (shoulder) is set to begin a rehab assignment, but the team hasn't decided what level he'll head to, Mike McGraw of the Chicago Daily Herald reports.

The decision will likely be based in part on the weather forecasts in the various cities the affiliates of the Cubs will be playing in. The right-hander threw three innings in a simulated game Saturday in Arizona at the Cubs' spring training facility, and he will throw a side session Tuesday before they make the decision where his rehab starts will take place. Hendricks is working his way back from the shoulder strain that has sidelined him throughout the beginning of the 2023 campaign, and he will likely need to make multiple rehab appearances in the minors. If all goes well, he should be a part of the Cubs' rotation in the middle of May.

Gonsolin (ankle) has joined the Dodgers in Chicago before their game against the Cubs on Sunday, Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic reports.

Gonsolin appears to be coming off his rehab assignment early to make his next appearance for the Dodgers rather than Triple-A Oklahoma City. He could slot in the rotation spot that was vacated by Michael Grove after Grove was diagnosed with a groin strain. Gonsolin was excellent in his action in 2022, and he should get a chance to show off his stuff in the majors in the coming days.

The Mets list Lucchesi as their probable starting pitcher for Thursday's game against the Nationals at Citi Field.

With Carlos Carrasco (elbow) hitting the 15-day injured list, Lucchesi was summoned from Triple-A Syracuse on Friday to join New York's rotation for his first MLB appearance since June 2021. The southpaw certainly earned another turn through the rotation, as he struck out nine over seven shutout innings Friday as the Mets cruised to an easy 7-0 win over the Giants. With a matchup on tap versus a weak Nationals offense that enters Sunday ranked 26th in the majors in wRC+ (83), Lucchesi shapes up as an intriguing streaming option during the upcoming week.

Alcantara (biceps) is scheduled to start Wednesday's game at Atlanta, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.

Alcantara was scratched from his scheduled start Saturday in the first game of a doubleheader against the Guardians due to biceps tendinitis. The right-handed hurler will be able to play catch Sunday, and if all goes well during his bullpen session Monday, he should be able to take the hill Wednesday while handling a normal workload. Fantasy managers should plan on Alcantara being on the bump this week, though it's worthwhile to keep an eye on news pertaining to the 27-year-old leading up to Wednesday's contest.
